    This record store is considered one of the world’s largest music stores and is located in Jinnan, Shibuya City, Tokyo. It is a large specialty shop with a variety of genre of CDs. Genres are divided into each floor such as J-pop, rock, and classical music, and the interior theme of each floor is different for each genre. Many events by artists and performers are held in the event space on the basement floor and the eighth floor as well as the floor with the grand piano. There is a café on the rooftop, and at night it is an adult space where you can enjoy music while drinking and smoking.

    This is a large bookstore located in Shinjuku in Tokyo's Shinjuku City. The main building and annex buildings are located between Shinjuku-dori Avenue and Yasukuni-dori Avenue. On the main building's nine floors including one basement floor and eight floors above ground the store sells items such as literature, foreign books, specialist books, magazines and picture books. There is even the Shinjuku Medical Book Center that offers items specific to the medical field, the Kinokuniya Hall which is home to performances for drama and rakugo, and the Event Hall that hosts book-signings. The annex carries comics, light novels, CDs and DVDs.

    This is a large bookstore located five minutes on foot from JR Ikebukuro Station East Exit, and the sales floor is from the basement to the ninth floor. There are books of various genres ranging from literary books to magazines, comics, medical and other specialist books etc. Many people visit from far away to find the book they are looking for. Inside the shop, you can search for your desired book with the help of a search machine, or you can use the desks and chairs provided to choose your books carefully. There is also a café on the fourth floor.

    A huge bookstore located a one-minute walk from Jimbocho Station. The flagship shop of the venerable Shosen bookstore chain, which was founded in 1948, the store sees an unending stream of visitors seeking to purchase highly specialized books from among Shosen Grande's massive selection. The sixth floor, for example, is stocked only with materials relaxing to railroads, and the selection of not only books but also merchandize and railroad accessories has made it a mecca for train aficionados. The seventh floor event space is frequently used to host events for young up-and-coming entertainers. Every floor offers something different, making Shosen Grande a fun place just to come and look.

Based on the concept of good things, real things and valuable things, it sells bamboo, wood and rattan products handcrafted by craftsmen using natural materials. It carries approximately 3,000 differently practical items for various uses including the popular ""Takesei Daikon-oroshi daburu-ha"" (bamboo double-toothed daikon radish grater), sieves, baskets, bento lunch boxes, seiro (bamboo steamers) and ohitsu (wooden containers for cooked rice)."

    A Northern European-style antique cafe and adjoining vintage boutique. Cheery, unique Northern European knickknacks and accoutrements add color to the establishment's plain white walls. The cafe menu primarily consists of traditional dishes and sweets from Sweden, Finland, and other Northern European countries. The cinnamon rolls are particularly popular and are made with fragrant cardamom directly imported from Northern Europe. Order something from the cafe menu and you can choose the cute Northern European tableware you'd like it served in or on. Many of the directly imported knickknacks decorating the establishment are available for purchase.

Many visitors come to the store in search of gift items from the usual stationery items to fashionable sundries or interior items, on all of the seven floors. Events such as workshops are also held.

    7階建て、複層階の東急ハンズだ。品ぞろえはよく、たとえば岡山の東急ハンズではないものが、ここにはある。目抜き通りに面しており、結構便利な場所だ。店内をぶらつくだけでも相当な時間消費になる。

Visitors can also try marine crafts (crafting items with seashells and other things from the ocean) at a beach house on Oge Island, Naruto City. Participants can craft one of more than 10 items including picture frames, wreathes, aroma gel candles, phone straps, and more. It is possible to participate without a reservation as long as there is a vacancy and a staff member is available. However, we recommend making reservations as the establishment is often crowded on weekends and during summer and other long vacations.

There's also an art space in which works of calligraphy created by the owner, who has worked at the art form since childhood, are displayed.
