    This shop is part of Sapporo's Central Wholesale Market. It is one of the largest in the market, which is a popular spot even for group tours. They offer a selection of fresh, seasonal seafood that only a truly big handler can sell! Not only do they offer seafood like crabs, sea urchin, kombu kelp and processed foods, but farm produce like melons and corn. Most of their foods can be sampled, as well, so it's perfect to take your time and really enjoy the selection while you shop. The lively shop also offers fresh seafood rice bowls to enjoy.

    This seafood shop is about a five-minute walk from Roadside Station Utoro Shirietoku. Established in 1972, this was the first seafood specialist shop in the Shiretoko/Utoro area. They have a huge variety of seafood from the Shiretoko area, including crabs, scallops, sea urchins, salmon roe, salmon and channel rockfish. Since it's near the roadside station, a popular tourist spot, on National Route 334, it's an easy stop on your drive through the area. They can boil live crabs just before shipping so you can get fresh, never-frozen crab delivered around Japan!

    This butcher's shop is located approximately 300 meters from Shintoku Station. It sells purely natural deer meat captured by hunters. It is a pioneering establishment that aims to spread the deliciousness of deer meat throughout the country, and for people to recognize properly processed deer meat as a healthy beauty food. It is a first-class food that has been added to the menus of many restaurants as the greatest lean red meat. The butcher's most popular cut of meat is the shoulder of Ezo deer, which is a beautiful part that displays the fat leaned into the red meat. It is recommended for shabu-shabu and sukiyaki dishes. Customers can request for the meat to be cut to a specific thickness.

    A local specialty products shop carrying goods straight from the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market on the second floor of the domestic terminal building in New Chitose Airport. The Kita no Hosekibako, an assortment of matsumae-zuke pickled abalone and ikura salted salmon roe, is particularly popular and only sold here at the airport location. There's a standing only sushi corner serving seasonal sushi. Many of the sushi menu items are also only served here in the airport location, such as baby salmon, a variety seen only once out of every 10 thousand salmon caught; and miraculous grape shrimp.

    A sashimi and homemade dried fish shop located in the Hassamu Shotengai shopping arcade in Sapporo City. Inside, the shop is filled with fresh Hokkaido seafood. The recommended Sashimi Viking platter, which allows you to select from among 20 varieties of sashimi and order starting from one platter, becomes quite cheap with an order of four platters. The shop also has an eat-in space open only during lunch time, and the shop's daily fresh seafood rice bowl lunch specials, such as the Pacific bluefin tuna bowl filled with everyone's favorite sashimi; and the salmon-stuffed bowl, are particularly popular. The extravagant and cheap Super Deluxe seafood bowl, an assortment of 12 to 13 varieties of the day's recommended sashimi, is also well-reviewed.
