大阪駅から南東方へ徒歩15分程の野崎町に建つ文禄4年（1595年）開創の浄土宗知恩院派寺院。太融寺町、兎我野町、野崎町から天満橋筋までの寺町には多くの寺院が並びますがこの寺院は格式ある立派な山門を構えて風格が漂います。また浄土宗寺院には珍しく弘法大師堂があります。

JR大阪駅の南東方徒歩15分程の野崎町に建つ法華宗陣門派寺院。天文5年（1536年）に西成郡新家村から当地へ移転した古い歴史を持ちます。周辺の寺が現代風に改装している中、寺らしい雰囲気を残していますが観光で巡る寺ではありません。兎我野町から太融寺町、野崎町の周辺には多くの寺が集まっていますので街の雰囲気を感じながらの散策は良いと思います。

大阪駅を起点に散策して寺院巡りをしました。その際に巡った寺院の中でこちらの本傳寺は太融寺についで２番めに大きな寺院でした。外からしか見ることができなかったのですが、桜の花がちょうど咲いていたのが良かったです。

ＪＲ桜ノ宮駅から徒歩１-２分程度、すぐそばと言って良い程の日蓮宗のお寺です。最初はお寺がビルの建物とは知らず、前を通り過ぎてしまいました。地元の信者の為の寺院といった雰囲気です。

大阪駅から歩いて寺院巡りをした際にこちらの妙香院にも行きました。付近には寺院が密集していますがその中でこちらの寺院はスタイリッシュな本堂が印象に残る寺院でした。

大通りに面していますが、他の普通の建物と軒を連ねて、本堂も奥に建っているので、見つけにくかったです。門構えだけを見たら小さなお寺かなと思ったら、奥は意外と広くて、本堂も大きかったですが、たぶんにビル的な建物でした。

ＪＲ桜ノ宮駅からほんのわずかの場所に有る真宗大谷派のお寺です。門が閉まっているので入れません。静かに通りすぎました。

グランフロントから阪急茶屋町に向って歩いていた時、偶然通りました。少し離れたところからお寺の屋根は見えましたが、門前に来ると、門は閉まっていて何も見えませんでした。観光寺ではないです。浄土真宗のお寺だそうです。
