- A roadside station standing along National Route 42 in Tahara City, Aichi Prefecture. Here you can buy fresh, seasonal agricultural products, kamaage shirasu boiled and dried whitebait (a local specialty product), and more. The Pacific Ocean sprawls into the distance nearby, and from the second floor observation deck and restaurant visitors can get a sweeping view of the sea. The station also has a surf shop and is a popular destination for surfers.

一年に何回か行く伊良湖岬に行く時にはいつも立ち寄ってきます。建物の２階のテラスに登れば、赤羽漁港や太平洋が見渡せるロケーションです。いつも買うのは安い地元の野菜です。安い時にはたくさん買って帰り、友人やお隣さんに分けてあげます。切り花も安いので助かります。

フェリー乗り場に隣接している道の駅ですが、休業が続いていましたがやっと開店に出会いました。フェリーの乗船券は駐車場付近に移動したままでした。フェリー待ちの時にお土産を買ったりして時間がつぶれるようになって良かったです。また大勢観光客が訪れる日が待ち遠しいです。

- Located approximately a 90-minute drive from the Tomei Expressway's Toyokawa Interchange, this bike rental spot is located inside Roadside Station Irago Cristal Port on Irago Cage. There are bikes available with electric motor assistance, meaning that even if you suddenly come upon a steep hill or long road, you can still enjoy cycling at ease. There are cycling roads in the area, and while riding straight down the coastal route you can enjoy the relaxing feel of the area and see various popular spots at your leisure. On top of the places already listed, you can also rent the bikes at the Irako View Hotel, Kyukamura Irago and at Irago Sea Park and Spa.

比較的大きな三つの駅。チェーン店のとんかつ屋を併設していたり、海鮮の美味しお店、ジャンクフード屋さん、ベーカリーなどなど飲食にも力を入れている感じ。野菜、果物系の売り場スペースがかなり広くて、沢山の買い物客で賑わっていました。青果以外の名産、特産品なども結構豊富に取り扱っている感じです。今どきの道の駅、巨大スーパーマーケット顔負けな買い物広場ですよね。

よく寄らせてもらっています。 パン屋さんもおいしいし(スタッフさんの対応が悪いのでレジ待ちでイライラしますが…)、花きもいろいろ充実しているし、農産物は農協がやっているので、新鮮でおいしい。さすが、評価の高い道の駅です。

Aichi Areas
Aichi is a prefecture of great natural beauty with Nagoya city at its heart, a busy hub home to a labyrinth of underground shops and the 17th-century Nagoya Castle. Castles are easy to find in this history-rich prefecture, but the highlight for history buffs has to be the Museum Meiji-mura, where preserved buildings from the turn of the 20th century are displayed in all their grandeur in an outdoor museum.
