    A public park known for scenery dubbed the Eight Picturesque Scenes of Tennogawa. Visitors can view seasonal flowers such as wisteria, cherry blossoms, and water lilies. During the Owari Tsushima Wisteria festival from late April to early May, visitors can enjoy the sight of a stunning wisteria trellis.

    かつては天王川という川が町を流れ、水上の交通路となっていた名残の丸池を中心とした公園です。今の時期は睡蓮、春は桜や藤が綺麗だそうです。有料のボートもありのんびりした公園で、津山神社や旧堀田家住宅、すぐ横にある瑠璃光寺等と併せて回ると良いと思います。

    This park is located in Iwaya-cho, Seto City. In addition to strolling through the abundant nature, visitors can also make use of the day-usebungalow village, cafeteria and shops. There are also various seasonal activities such as barbecuing, firefly-watching and a natural pool. In November, the Autumn Leaves Festival is held here.

    What a great place to spend the day, definitely recommend for any new people or tourists, plenty of great food not terribly far.

    A forest park located in Owariasahi City, Aichi Prefecture. Some of the park's many facilities include tennis courts, baseball fields, an exercise park with horseback riding, a paid botanical garden, and barbecue ground. The Mori no Cafe information center serves a famous dan dan mian noodle bowl, curry rice, and other dishes. The park is often used as a gathering space by locals.

    手軽にちょっとだけ紅葉狩りしようと、愛知県森林公園へ。 広い公園には、たくさんの木々や草花。 季節ごとに、様々な景色が楽しめる。 園内を散策していると、真っ赤に色づいたイロハカエデを発見。 楓や銀杏など、紅葉する木々は少なめではあるが、陽の光を受けた紅葉はとても美しく、秋を満喫することができた。

    A public park standing along Prefectural Route 104 in Nitanda Toriganji-cho, Yatomi City. The park has a playground, toddler's corner, grass sports field, outdoor pool, and roller skating rink. The park also offers rides like a 500 meter pedal-powered go-cart circuit and pedal boats.

    入口すぐのところにある波型の遊具にハマってました。幼児から高学年まで体力に合った遊び方ができるのではないかと。 その他、大型の滑り台や一人50円と良心的価格の足漕ぎゴーカート、この日は乗れませんでしたがボートもあります。 砦を模した遊具もあり、昼前から夕方までたっぷり遊びました。 また連れていきたいと思います。

    A park which was erected on the site of Expo 2005 Aichi. Japan’s first magnetic levitation train Linimo, operates in the park. The park is extremely large; the cycling course is 5.1 kilometers long. The Aichi Children’s Center inside the park contains play equipment and children run about the facility having fun. Particularly popular is Satsuki and Mei’s House, which recreates the world from the movie My Neighbor Totoro. The park also has a variety of other facilities on offer for adults and children to enjoy.

    This Ichinomiya City municipal park is around a 15-minute drive from the Ichinomiya-Kisogawa Interchange off of the Tokai Hokuriku Expressway. The park is set along the Kiso River on the former site of the Ono Castle which was used as a fortress by Hashiba Hideyoshi in the Battle of Komaki-Nagakute during the civil war era. The park is full of cherry trees that during the peak blooming season of April are a beautiful site to see. It also has a barbecue area, a wooded area, and a cycling path for which rent-a-cycles are available. The park hosts many events every month including park yoga, gardening workshops and work-craft classes.

    This park is located in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture. A tower called Twin Arch 138, designed with two overlapping arches, stands in the park. Also a renowned destination for flower viewing, the park has English-style flowerbeds and flower fields planted with roses, cosmos, and other flowers which bloom from spring through fall. Visitors can enjoy the sight of beautiful flowers here year-round. The park also has many facilities where visitors can let loose and have fun, including a large natural grass lawn, event square, and huge wooden playground. The park is a fun destination for adults and children alike.

    A large public park and popular gathering space for locals which has been selected as one of Japan's 100 best urban parks. The 24 hectare park is host to Ochiai Pond, walking paths, and fountains. Many cherry trees also grow on the grounds and the park is a renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing in the spring. A summer fireworks display and a variety of other events are held here.

    This park is the only large general park in Owariasahi City. Sports facilities include a baseball ground, Japanese archery ground, and tennis courts. A reinforced concrete reconstruction of Asahi Castle stands in the park, and a tea room inside can be used for tea ceremony events. A 55-meter-tall observatory stands on a hill in the center of the park and from the observation deck visitors can enjoy views of the Nagoya Dome and other surrounding Nagoya sights. A cherry blossom festival is held in the park in spring, a summer festival in summer, and citizens' and farm festivals in fall.

    A public park located in Okusa, Komaki City. Park facilities include a zoo with ponies and other small animals, a huge playground area with a variety of play equipment, an artificial turf grass sledding hill, a barbecue ground, rose garden, disc golf and park golf ground, and more.

    Jokoji Park is located about a 15-minute drive from the Seto-Shinano or Kasugai Interchanges, just south of Jokoji Temple, a National Cultural Property, the main building of which was built in 1336. It is part of Aichi Kogen Quasi-National Park. During the spring, it is a favored spot for viewing the blossoms of the Yoshino cherry trees that stand around Shoden-ike Pond and the six-side pavilion built on an artificial island in the pond. Fireflies gather over the pond in the summer, and visitors can enjoy the scenery of Jokoji Park at every time of the year, including the middle of November, when the autumn leaves are at the height of their colors. For about a month, starting in early November, the park holds an Autumn Leaves Festival, and all sorts of events take place during that period.

    A park operated by Kiyosu City. The park is located on the site where the original Kiyosu Castle once stood. The park was originally quite large, but a railway line divided the park into north and south halves, and today the northern side is called Kiyosu Castle Park while the south side is called just Kiyosu Park. Bronze statues of the mighty samurai lord Oda Nobunaga, depicted just prior to the Battle of Okehazama, and his wife Nohime stand in the park. The park is also a renowned destination for cherry blossoms, and in spring when the trees are in bloom many tourists come here to view the flowers.

    Located approximately a five-minute walk from the Yazako stop on the Meitetsu bus, this park is in the Mt. Irogane area, where Tokugawa Ieyasu set up camp during the battle of Komaki and Nagakute. On the top of the mountain still stands the Shogi-ishi, a huge stone marking the spot where Ieyasu is said to have sat while holding a war council. The park has a wooden observation deck reminiscent of the Warring States period fort, which offers views over the Nagakute battlefield where fierce battles were fought. At Koshoan, a teahouse imitating the National Treasure teahouse Joan in Inuyama City, guests can enjoy Japanese sweets together with matcha that they have prepared themselves.

    Located approximately a three-minute walk from the Tobu Kyuryo Line's (Linimo) Nagakute Kosenjo Station, this historical park was the site of the Battle of Komaki and Nagakute. As the site of the decisive final battle between Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu, it contains an open air park designed to mimic an ancient battlefield using the Sakkien method; Toyotomi Hideyoshi's burial stone and more. It was listed as one of the 100 Best Historical Parks in Japan, and plays host to the Nagakute Kosenba cherry blossom festival at the beginning of April every year.

    A public park situated along the Kiso River in Sobue Nabeshima Sobue-cho, Inazawa City. The park has a 70-meter long roller slide; giant, ship-shaped play place; and other fun playground equipment. There are also tennis courts, jogging courses, and a barbecue ground. An outdoor pool is also available for visitors to enjoy in summer.

    A public park situated along Prefectural Route 185 in Kurisu Ohira, Inuyama City. Located across from Momotaro Shrine, whose origins tie into the legend that the might Momotaro was born on the shore of the Kiso River, during the shrine's Momotaro Festival on May 5, a peach mikoshi portable shrine is carried through the park's grounds. The park is also a renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing in spring.

    This park is located next to Mandara-ji Temple, in Teramachi, Maehibo-cho, Konan City. It is a famous spot for viewing wisteria flowers, and the Konan Wisteria Festival is held here every year from late April to early May. At the festival, visitors can see 12 different kinds of colorful wisteria blooming on the 4,700 square-meter trellises.

    お金をかけて整備された公園ですが、万博瀬戸会場だったことはあまり知られていないかもしれません。また、車でなければ行きにくい場所なので整備費用を考えると勿体無い気もします。

Aichi is a prefecture of great natural beauty with Nagoya city at its heart, a busy hub home to a labyrinth of underground shops and the 17th-century Nagoya Castle.
