This outdoor museum is located in Inuyama City. It displays a number of buildings from the Meiji period, the era that created the foundation for modern Japan, that have been transplanted from across the country. Located on a large hilly area facing Lake Iruka, the museum's numerous exhibits include buildings designed as national important cultural properties such as the former residence of Saigo Judo and the St. John's Church from Kyoto, railway monuments, and modern industrial heritages. The museum also features a number of hands-on facilities including one where visitors can ride on steam locomotives or a Kyoto street car and another where visitors can take commemorative photos dressed in fashionable Meiji era-style garb. Fees are required for some activities. Groups of 20 or more can play a real-world ''Game of Life'' that takes place over the entire village (reservation required).

Opened in 1989 for the 50th anniversary of Toyota Motor, the museum has a main building and annex. You can easily learn about the history of the evolution of automobiles. There is a library inside where you can deepen your knowledge of automobiles. In addition, there is also a library for children with picture books of vehicles. The museum shop has plenty of original goods, and the restaurant has a menu centered on Western-style dishes. An amusement park and adjoining zoo. The amusement park features over 30 rides, including ones for small children. Seasonal events are held here and in summer the Paradise of Water Monpuru pool and waterpark is open to visitors. On weekdays only, visitors can take commemorative photos with park mascots. The park’s restaurants serve giant deep-fried shrimp, a Nagoya specialty, as well as an abundant menu of other items. A gate in the park leads to the adjoining zoo where you can see monkeys from around the world. Note that a separate entry fee is required for the zoo.

This review is mainly for the expat community. The Monkey Park is an excellent day trip if you have small children. Years back, the park had a few rides more suitable for older children but sadly...

This park is located in Iwaya-cho, Seto City. In addition to strolling through the abundant nature, visitors can also make use of the day-usebungalow village, cafeteria and shops. What a great place to spend the day, definitely recommend for any new people or tourists, plenty of great food not terribly far.

Some of the park's many facilities include tennis courts, baseball fields, an exercise park with horseback riding, a paid botanical garden, and barbecue ground. The Mori no Cafe information center serves a famous dan dan mian noodle bowl, curry rice, and other dishes. The park is often used as a gathering space by locals.

手軽にちょっとだけ紅葉狩りしようと、愛知県森林公園へ。広い公園には、たくさんの木々や草花。季節ごとに、様々な景色が楽しめる。園内を散策していると、真っ赤に色づいたイロハカエデを発見。楓や銀杏など、紅葉する木々は少なめではあるが、陽の光を受けた紅葉はとても美しく、秋を満喫することができた。

The museum is located on the second and third floors of the Seto-Gura tourist facility, built on the old site of the Seto City Hall. Visitors can learn all about the history and culture surrounding Seto pottery which flourished here and became known as Seto-mono (pottery and porcelain). The museum houses displays which bring to life the work that was carried out at that time including a nostalgic reproduction of the original Owari Seto Station and streetcar, as well as a reproduction of a pottery workshop, called a moro, a coal fired kiln and chimney. There is also an area where you can enjoy some matcha green tea for a fee. A perfect place to relax after wondering around the museum. The nearest station is Owari Seto Station.

瀬戸のやきものの博物館です。やきもの自体の展示もわかりやすくて素晴らしいのですが、昭和の活気のあった時代の駅や街の様子が再現されており懐かしさも感じました。また、上映されている「王子窯」というカンヌ映画祭で入賞した短編のドキュメンタリーが感動的で必見です。

Dondenkan is a town development facility, or museum, located in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture. It is home to four floats, each eight meters in height, which are paraded through the streets in the Inuyama Festival, one of the country’s Important Intangible Folk Cultural Properties. The floats exquisitely decorated in gold leaf and lacquer are an impressive sight. The building has been built to reproduce the town houses of the Inuyama castle town, complete with Japanese rooms and earthen floors. The second floor exhibition room displays models and materials relating to Inuyama Festival. It’s a place where you can really feel the thrilling festival atmosphere.

A public park standing along Prefectural Route 104 in Nitanda Toriganji-cho, Yatomi City. The park has a playground, toddler's corner, grass sports field, outdoor pool, and roller skating rink. The park also offers rides like a 500 meter pedal-powered go-cart circuit and pedal boats.

入口すぐのところにある波型の遊具にハマってました。幼児から高学年まで体力に合った遊び方ができるのではないかと。その他、大型の滑り台や一人50円と良心的価格の足漕ぎゴーカート、この日は乗れませんでしたがボートもあります。砦を模した遊具もあり、昼前から夕方までたっぷり遊びました。また連れていきたいと思います。

A park which was erected on the site of Expo 2005 Aichi. Japan’s first magnetic levitation train Linimo, operates in the park. The park is extremely large; the cycling course is 5.1 kilometers long. The Aichi Children’s Center inside the park contains play equipment and children run about the facility having fun. Particularly popular is Satsuki and Mei’s House, which recreates the world from the movie My Neighbor Totoro. The park also has a variety of other facilities on offer for adults and children to enjoy.

This Ichinomiya City municipal park is around a 15-minute drive from the Ichinomiya-Kisogawa Interchange off of the Tokai Hokuriku Expressway. The park is set along the Kiso River on the former site of the Ono Castle which was used as a fortress by Hashiba Hideyoshi in the Battle of Komaki-Nagakute during the civil war era. The park is full of cherry trees that during the peak blooming season of April are a beautiful site to see. It also has a barbecue area, a wooded area, and a cycling path for which rent-a-cycles are available. The park hosts many events every month including park yoga, gardening workshops and work-craft classes.

A large sports complex operated by Kiyosu City. The complex is primarily divided into two areas: a pool building and a gym building (multipurpose hall). The pool facilities include heated pools, a wave pool, lazy river pool, as well as attractions such as an area in which showers of water rain down in imitation of a squall. There's also a huge, sailing ship-shaped pool playground and waterslides, and the pool area sees many visitors throughout the year. Additionally, the complex holds swimming, yoga, and a variety of other sports and fitness classes.
