Kiyosu Park
A park operated by Kiyosu City. The park is located on the site where the original Kiyosu Castle once stood. The park was originally quite large, but a railway line divided the park into north and south halves, and today the northern side is called Kiyosu Castle Park while the south side is called just Kiyosu Park. Bronze statues of the mighty samurai lord Oda Nobunaga, depicted just prior to the Battle of Okehazama, and his wife Nohime stand in the park. The park is also a renowned destination for cherry blossoms, and in spring when the trees are in bloom many tourists come here to view the flowers.
