    "Dogashima is a famous scenic spot in Nishiizu Town, Kamo County. There are a number of tourist attractions in the area, including the Sanshiro Islands - comprising Zo-jima, Nakano-shima, and Taka-shima-and the Tensodo sea-cave, which has been designated a National Natural Monument. Sightseeing cruise boats operate throughout the year; visitors can look up at the sky through the opening in the roof of the Tensodo sea-cave (also known as the ""Blue Cave""), which was created by sea erosion of tuff (a type of rock formed from volcanic ash), and can also view the tombolo phenomenon, a narrow strip of land that links Zo-jima (traditionally known as Denbei-jima, this is the closest of the Sanshiro Islands to the Izu Peninsula) to the mainland at low tide. This area is also famous as the setting for the tragic love legend of Izu no Sanshiro and Koyuki."

    This sea cave with a mystical 50 meter-wide skylight was formed by the erosion of the earth's surface by the waves. Visitors can stand under the skylight by passing through the cave's entrance, which is located on the side of the road. Viewed from above, the cave looks like a heart, make it especially popular with couples.

    This scenic spot in Nishi-Izu Town has been selected as one of Japan's best 100 sunsets. From the shore, visitors can enjoy watching the setting sun turn unusual rock formations like Tago-jima Island and Meganeccho (also known as Godzilla Rock) into dark silhouettes. This place is also beloved by many people for the way the sun sets between Otokojima and Onnajima (the male and female islets that make up Tago-jima island) during the days before and after the spring and autumn equinoxes.

    夕陽が素晴らしいと聞いて、足を延ばして来てみました。駐車場完備と聞いていましたが、コロナ禍でもたくさんの人が来ていたので、必然的に路上駐車の嵐．．．通常の土日だったらもっと混んでいたのでしょう。お天気に恵まれ、夕陽は本当に素晴らしかったです。

    Hokkawa Onsen in Higashiizu Town, Kamo County, Shizuoka Prefecture, is famous as a place where you can see the moon rising above the horizon and catch beautiful views of the ‘moon road’ where the reflection of the moon leaves a trail on the surface of the sea. The moon road is a fantastic sight that can be seen only a few days before and after a full moon. It can be viewed from anywhere along the seafront. Popular as a power spot it is also said that dreams come true when making your wish in front of the moon road. It has also been designated as one of Japan’s best 100 moons.

    Located roughly 200 meters off the Nishi-Izu coast, “Sanshiro Islands” is the collective name for the four islands of Denbei Island , Nakano Island, Okinose Island, and Taka Island. The name “Sanshiro Islands” (“Three-Four Islands”) derives from the fact that, depending on which angle you view the Islands from, there sometimes appear to be only three islands, rather than four. On days when the tidal level is less than 30 centimeters, during the period between roughly one hour before low tide and one hour after low tide, a “tombolo” causeway appears that connects the Sehama Coast to Denbei Island; this tombolo has been designated a Prefectural Natural Monument. The tombolo can be seen during the daytime between February and mid-October (the exact times vary from day to day).

    "This coastal hot spring inn district is famous for its views of the moon. It is located about a 10-minute walk north from Izu-Hokkawa Station. ""Moon Road"" is the name of a natural phenomenon that occurs three days before and after a full moon in which the moon's reflection appears to stretch to the Tokai Coast from the horizon. It has been certified as one of Japan's Top 100 Most Beautiful Moon Views and also ranked in the ""I Want to Go"" and ""Glad I Went"" categories of the Fujinokuni Angel Power Spot General Election. Visitors can relax while enjoying the view from the seaside terrace. It is said that any wish made at the Moon Road for ten seconds will come true."
