- This popular restaurant in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City is known for their rice bowl piled high with handmade special sauce pickled fresh sakura shrimp made by local fishermen, as well as their crispy kakiage tempura. Their Kakiage Rice Bowl with two pieces of kakiage tempura is another popular menu item. They only open for the weekends when there is a restriction on fishing sakura shrimp, please confirm if they are open in advance.

- Tempura Tsurukichi in Chuo Town, Atami City is a tempura restaurant. Kamatsuru dried fish shop, a well-established dried fish shop in Atami, directly operates this restaurant. The name of the first shop, Kamatsuru is prefixed in the name of the restaurant. Tempura as well as sashimi (raw fish) with standard ingredients, seasonal local fish and local vegetables is served. For a limited time, it also sells a shokado-style compartment bento box and a takeout lunch for tendon (a rice bowl topped with tempura) with two days advance bookings.

ぼったくり弁当 Beware Rip-off !! これが2000円のお弁当です！スカスカ！ このお弁当からは愛情のプライドも感じません。ぼったくる事しか伝わってきません。 This is $20 ToGo Tempura combo. I don’t recommend at all !!! 釜鶴は良いお店なのに、この天ぷら屋さんはどうしてだろう？お店で食べても感じ悪かった。もう行きません。

お店の近くに用事があり、帰りに来店しました。開店前には１０台以上の車が待っていました。開店前には名前を記入する様になっています。入店後に名前を呼ばれますから書き忘れのないように。記入時に座敷かカウンターが選べます。座敷に通され場所は順番に好きな場所を選べます。メニューを見て期待はずれは焼き物が無かった事。焼き魚を期待していたのに。天丼と天ぷら定食を注文。天ぷら定食は美味しかったらしい天丼は普通でし...

ビジネスの食事で行ったので詳細はよくわかりませんが、今回は天ぷらのコースでした。店の方はかなり歴史を背負った方ばかりで、料理等運んでくるとき大丈夫かと心配でした（笑）。天ぷらはまあ特筆することなしで。揚げたては美味しいねという感じです。お造りにつけるワサビはもう少し盛ってくれてもいいんじゃないかな。

天ぷらがメインの和食レストランです。天ぷらや天丼、お蕎麦、麦とろご飯などがセットになったメニューがそろっています。自分はとり天ととろろご飯の定食をいただきました。とり天は衣はさくっと、肉は柔らかで、なかなか美味しかったです。一緒に行った家族はお蕎麦を食べていましたが、もう少しコシがある方がいいと言っていました。
