    「やまなし観光推進機構」が発行している「やまなしのお寺と神社」の写真集に、見開き2ページが使われ紹介されていたお寺です。都留市方面を通った際に訪れてみました。 円通院の伽藍は山門、本堂、鐘楼、六角堂、報恩搭が並びます。 開創は1467年(応仁元年)で、1633年(寛永１０年)に、谷村城主•秋元泰朝が現在地に移して、円通院と改めたとの事です。
