    This temple is located in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It was built in 1558 by Takeda Shingen, who feared that the fires caused by the Battles of Kawanakajima would reach Shinano Zenkoji Temple, as a place to relocate the temple's statues, scriptures, and other properties. The temple's gate and main hall are nationally-designated Important Cultural Properties. The treasure hall built on the temple grounds exhibit some of the temple's countless treasures.

    A Buddhist temple situated on Yumura Onsen-dori Street in 3-Chome Yumura, Kofu City. Records state the temple was founded in 808 by the great priest Kobo Daishi. The temple's stone statue depicting a seated Kshitigarbha, one of its principal objects of worship enshrined in the Important Cultural Property-designated Jizodo hall, is said to grant worshippers protection from harm and improved fortunes. During the temple's Yakuyoke Jizoson Festival, held each year from noon on February 13 to noon of the following day, a grand homa burning rite is held and a variety of street stalls open up on the grounds, attracting large numbers of visitors.

    湯村温泉郷を見下ろす湯村山の中腹に位置します。 大同3年（808）に、弘法大師（空海）が開山した由来を持つ真言宗の寺院です。 湯村温泉街を歩き、弘法湯(宿)の少し先にあります。

    この寺は諏訪頼重と武田信玄の嫡男・武田義信が切腹した寺です。 歴史ファンには興味深い寺ですが、実際は普通のお寺でした。 建物も新しく、頼重や義信が切腹した建物も残っていないようです。 彼らの墓も墓地に他の人のお墓に埋まっており、目立たないお墓で、歴史の舞台を感じることが全くできませんでした。

    武田信玄はこのお寺の境内で生まれたと伝わりますが、裏手の要害山城の本丸跡にも生誕地の標柱があります。武田信玄の像が境内にあるので、武田好きなら行ってみる価値はありますが、お寺は小さいのですぐに見学できます。

    武田信虎の墓所があるお寺です。 お寺入り口には 石屋さんがあり 石仏が少し気になったりはしますが 山門から 歴史を感じる趣のある雰囲気となります。 本堂まで進んで 左奥に武田信虎公の墓所があります。

    元徳２（１３３０）年に創建された。屋根付きの木造の山門（鐘楼門）があり、その奥に屋根の大きな本堂や経蔵等があり木々が並び静かであった。

    甲府駅から徒歩10分くらいでした。お寺の前まで行くと、お墓までの案内が大変親切に出ているので、迷わずお墓の前まで行けました。 今も龍馬関連の品物が置いてありました。お花が枯れていたので、お花を持参していけば良かったと思いました。

    少し山側を上がったところにあります。 小さめなお寺でしたが 由緒によれば 本尊は弘法大師作と伝える三宝荒神で、武田信虎が荒神堂を建て、堂守に山伏を置いたのがはじまりといわれています。 また、太子堂（毘沙門堂）は柳沢吉里が甲府城内より移したものです。

    戦災で焼失してしまったとのことですが、 木喰仏の七観音（子安観世音、千手観世音、大馬頭観世音、聖観世音、如意輪観世音、十一面観世音、大順てい観世音）があったそうです。 また、徳川家康の八男仙千代の廟があります。

    私が訪れたときは藤が半分以上落ちている状態。 でも散った藤の花もなかなかですね。 あとはちょっとした庭園にあるツツジ やアヤメやアイリスを鑑賞しました。
