- A day-use hot spring bathhouse which commands a view of the Sea of Japan. Here customers can soak in a spacious, clean and hygienic tub filled with the iron-rich waters of a hypertonic mildly alkaline cold mineral spring. Notable for their pale yellow color and smooth texture, these waters also contain an abundance of heat radiating bicarbonate ions, and customers rave that even after sitting in them for long periods, they don’t experience heat-induced dizziness. Customers can take in a view of the azure Sea of Japan and the sun setting on the ocean not only from the bathhouse’ outdoor bath but also the indoor bathing area. Adjoining Osaki Yukiwariso-no-Sato, an area where many Primula modesta grow, many customers stop by this bathhouse after viewing the flowers.

地元のおじいちゃんおばあちゃんがいっぱい(*^^*) のんびりした雰囲気です。 お風呂は一つには露天風呂が付いていて日替わりです。 食堂が意外と(失礼)美味しいのです。 昔懐かしい素朴な味でほんと和みます。 我が家のオススメはエビの唐揚げ(o^^o) ゆったりしたい人におすすめ。

- A day-use hot spring bathhouse adjoining Roadside Station Chijimi no Sato Ojiya. The bathhouse’ two bathing areas are each replete with a large indoor bath, outdoor bath, sauna, and jacuzzi. The waters of the bathhouse’sodium hydrogen carbonate spring have a viscous texture and are renowned for relieving nerve pain and muscle soreness. The baths are also on the lukewarm side, making it possible to enjoy a truly relaxing, long soak in comfort. Some of the bathhouse’ full array of other facilities includes a large reception hall where meals can be eaten, a movie room with a 120 inch screen, and separate men’s and women’s relaxation rooms.

- Echigo Kawaguchi Onsen is a hot spring facility for day use in the city of Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture. It boasts a splendid view of the Shinano River and the mystical three great mountains of Echigo. The water has a high level of osmotic pressure, so the natural spring water components beneficial for the skin are easily absorbed. The outdoor scenic bath, filled with brownish spring water, is a place where customers can bathe while breathing in pure, natural air. Inside are reclining baths, baths with flowing water, electric baths, and saunas. The building also contains a lounge with a scenic view, an exercise room, and a restaurant.

ＪＲ見附駅から周辺を散策した時に発見しました。日帰り入浴施設です。時間の関係で利用は出来なかったですが、賑わっていた様子でした〇

設備の整った湯治ホテル。 ちょっと大きめの冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、炊飯器が部屋にありました。 ＩＨのコンロがありましたが、調理器具は無し。 皿や箸なども無かった。 食事は頼めるようですが、予約が必要かも？ 食堂やレストランは無かった。 雑誌に記事が載ったことがあるようで、お風呂を利用する客がとても多いです。 お湯の温度がぬるいので、一度浸かったら、人の動きがほとんど無い。 深夜は入浴できませんでした...

- This hot spring district, serving as the retreat of Echigo Nagaoka, was first developed with the building of a hot spring hotel in 1869 and has flourished as a therapeutic hot spring bathing destination ever since. Even today, the waters of the area's simple sulfur and simple alkaline hot springs are beloved by many; leaving the skin silky smooth, they are particularly popular with women. These waters are also said to treat such ailments as skin diseases, women's diseases, cuts, hardening of the arteries, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar. Nearby Koryu-jinja Shrine is a Shinto shrine boasting 600 years of history, and many worshippers from all over the country make their way to this sacred site. Some of area's many other sightseeing destinations where visitors can come in contact with local history and nature include Takenokochi Fudo-jinja Shrine, Fudo Falls, the Yamakoshi Rice Terraces, and Yukyuzan Park (known to locals as Oyama Park).

日帰り入浴で利用しました。長岡市と柏崎市の中間の山間部、大積にある一軒宿。長岡駅大手口５番線より西山経由柏崎駅行き「折渡」というバス停から歩いて５分前後ですが、バスの場合本数が少ないのであらかじめチェックが必要です。年配のご夫婦が経営されていて、愛想はさほどよくないし、脱衣室にドライヤーもない。けれど、頼めば貸してくれるという話です。とにかくにごり湯の色がすごい。まさに紅茶です。それがとろりとした...
