    Tokyo Chuou-ku Nihombashi 1-12-10
This is a long-established restaurant for yoshoku cuisine (Japan's take on Western-style food) located in Nihombashi. It has maintained tastes that are unchanged since it was founded in 1931, and is widely known as a restaurant that even impresses foodies. The first floor features a casual restaurant with traditional yoshoku food served at reasonable prices, while the second floor is a full-fledged restaurant. They are famous for their Tanpopo Omuraisu, a dish popularized by director Juzo Itami in which an omelette is served over fried rice with chicken. Their hayashi rice and beef tongue stew that are covered in a demi-glace sauce prepared over the course of a week are exquisite.

Mikawaya was founded in 1887 as Mikawaya Grocery Store and revived after World War II as the French Restaurant Mikawaya. Try their course meals or A La Carte menu, which may seem simple to make and enjoy, but each dish is a masterpiece of deep flavors. Traditional flavors have been used for 120 years.

    Tokyo Chuou-ku Tsukiji 6-27-3 Aoki Building 1F
This is an Italian restaurant located in the Tsukiji Outer Market with a warm interior that evokes the Mediterranean Ocean that offers simple and splendid southern Italian food cuisine made just like the local recipes. Part of the appeal is a menu that differs from season to season, since the restaurant uses fresh seafood sourced from Tsukiji Market. Trattoria Tsukiji PARADISO! was even listed in the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2015 (Bib Gourmand).

If you go to Tsukiji, I would like to recommend this Italian restaurant. Tsukiji is known as sushi, seafood bowls, and tamagoyaki. You can enjoy not only Japanese food but also food from other...

    Tokyo Chuou-ku Ginza 3-5-16
A venerable Western-style restaurant located in Ginza. Founded in 1895, this storied venue is famous as being the birthplace of the Japanese “Western” food “katsuretsu” (breaded meat cutlet). The shop’s omelet rice is made rather unusually with the egg and rice mixed together, and this popular menu item is referred to as the proto omelet rice by some. The restaurant’s old-fashioned register, in use for more than 40 years, continues to tally up patrons’ bills just as well as it always has.

Rengatei is allegedly the birthplace of omurice where it was created over 100 years ago. Its a popular restaurant as there was a decent queue lining up before the place opened and thats usually a...

  • Grill Bon (Ginza Shop)

    Tokyo Chuou-ku Ginza 7-14-1
Grill Bon is a deep fried beef tenderloin cutlet sandwich shop chain from Osaka. Grill Bon's thick, juicy, first-rate tenderloin cutlets have a crispy coating made from handmade fresh breadcrumbs and are smothered in a special sauce. These delicious sandwiches have long been a favorite of locals in Osaka, and now you can enjoy the same great taste in Tokyo. The lunch menu is served from 11:00 to 14:00; the half-sized sandwich with coffee is a particularly popular choice. The small and laidback restaurant has seven counter seats. You can enjoy a fresh made sandwich here or get your order to go; Grill Bon also delivers.

    Tokyo Chuou-ku Ginza 2-7-15 Itouya Building 12F
An all-day cafe and restaurant located on the 12th floor of the Itoya Building in Ginza. Cafe Stylo takes particular pride in its use of eggs from chickens raised in peaceful conditions at Kurofuji Farm, as well as organic vegetables grown in a hydroponic facility on the 11th floor of the same building. Cafe Stylo seeks to support hardworking people from the inside and out with egg-based dishes and salads made with vegetables grown right in the heart of Ginza. The delightfully runny salmon scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and cream cheese are a particularly recommended lunch option. If you like, you can switch out the scrambled eggs for fried eggs or an omelet.

We wanted to have a more international meal, this was perfect. We taste the salmon toast and the Spanish jam. It was good with a nice view at the 12th floor.

Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
