    With over 24,000 flag irises planted in the national historic Onnabori ruins, this botanical park is one of the main sights of Isezaki City, Gunma Prefecture. The best viewing period is mid-June. The Onnabori is a historic waterway ruins in Gunma Prefecture. The vibrant purple and white Japanese flag irises carpeting this tree-lined way are a splendid sight to see. Every year, at their peak, the Akabori Iris Garden Festival hosts open-air tea ceremonies, exhibits of local specialties, dance shows, and taiko drum ensembles, attracting a throng of festivalgoers.

    A pottery studio located along Nashiki-zaka Hill Road in Ikaho-machi, Shibukawa City. The studio seeks to revive the style of Ikaho-yaki Pottery, a marvelous style of pottery that uses the hot spring minerals of Ikaho Onsen hot spring in both the clay and the glaze. They offer pottery classes (reservations required) with a variety of options where you can make your own piece of pottery using techniques including an electric potters' wheel or hand forming. In the attached gallery works are displayed and sold and there's a collection forcusing on pottery and haiku poetry on display.

    An observation deck located along Prefectural Route 33 in Yunakago, Ikaho Town, Shibukawa City. It's located along the route from the Ikaho Onsen Hot Spring town to Mt. Haruna and from the observation deck, situated nearly 1000-meters above sea level, you can look out over the hot spring town and the surrounding mountains. It's also a well-known spot to admire the local nightscape.

Their exhibits include sheet music and records for chanson music as well as stage outfits worn by famous domestic and foreign chanson singers. The museum is home to a shop selling goods including chanson CDs, a Parisian style cafe, a garden, and more. On weekends and holidays they hold live performances of chanson music.

    Located on the first floor of Shibukawa City Hall No. 2, about a 15-minute walk from JR Shibukawa Station, the museum permanently exhibits a variety of sculptures created by Kuwabara Hiromori, known as a leading figurative sculptor. The citizens' gallery also holds special exhibitions by local artists, so there is something different to enjoy each time you visit.

    The Heso (Belly Button) Rock is located along Maronie-dori Street in Shibukawa, Shibukawa City. During the Heian period as Sakanoue no Tamuramaro was returning home after subjugating the Emishi people he declared this rock was the geographical center of Japan and it has been an object of worship ever since. The adjacent Heso (Belly Button) Jizo statue was established in 1984 as the Center of Japan Shibukawa Belly Button Festival was held for the first time and it's said that stroking the belly button will result in various benefits.

    A factory in Komagata Town, Maebashi City. Factory tours are offered where you can watch the process of dismantling and sorting of waste (reservation required). In addition to a material library that displays and sells hundreds of different materials that come from their dismantling and sorting they also host workshops on creating goods made with those materials and dismantled parts.

    The Jomo Electric Railway line that runs from Chuomaebashi Station in Joto Town, Maebashi City to Nishi-Kiryu Station in Miyamae Town, Kiryu City operates a Cycle Train that allows you to bring your bike with you on the train at the regular fair. On weekdays this starts at 7:47AM for the down-bound train and at 8:00AM for the upbound train and runs until the last train of the evening. On weekends, holidays, and during summer vacation it's available all day long. Furthermore, at Chuomaebashi Station, Ogo Station, Akagi Station, and Nishi-Kiryu Station there are free rental cycles available for train commuters.

    A group of ancient burial mounds located in Nishiomuro Town, Maebashi City. The location has been designated as a National Historic Site and includes a number of Kofun burial mounds including the Mae-Futago Kofun, Naka-Futago Kofun, Ushiro-Futago Kofun, and Sho-Futago Kofun which are believed to date back to the 6th century. The area surrounding the burial mounds is maintained as a Historical Park and the burial chambers of the Mae-Futago Kofun and Ushiro-Futago Kofun are open to the public.

    A museum located within Shikishima Park in Shikishima Town, Maebashi City. The museum uses the former main building of the National Silkworm Factory which was built in 1912 before being moved and restored in its current location. On display are materials related to silkworm farming and silk spinning. Through the displays including those of the tools and machines that were used you can come in contact with Maebashi's history of sericulture industry.

    This historic building is located near Ogo Station on the Jomo Electric Railway in Motogi Town, Maebashi City. The garage was built in 1928 with the opening of the railway line and is a registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. Currently the garage is used to display valuable railroad rolling stock including electric locomotives and can be visited after making prior reservation. The garage is also used to hold special railway events.
