    Approximately a 5-minute walk from the JR Maebashi Oshima Station and a 10-minute drive from the Komagata Interchange, this historic Ume plum foods manufacturer was established in 1893. Visitors can tour the production line in the adjoining factory which is where the original Karikari ume product is made. Reservations are required for the tour that lasts approximately 40 minutes. One can visit the factory between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There are four tour times from which one can choose during this period. One can purchase or taste the products for sale after the tour at the direct sales shop on the premises.

    A historic building in Kashiwagura Town, Maebashi City. The single-story house was built around the end of 17th century and features a classic Japanese design with a thatched roof. It preserves an architectural style one generation older than the classic Akagi-style Residence with a loft area for silkworm faming. The house has been designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan.

    三夜沢赤城神社から車で数分のところにあります。土間と座敷部分が半分ずつで、座敷部分は、板敷と座敷と納戸に分かれているとのこと。外観も見事です。

    A shopping street built on the approach leading to Ikaho Shrine in Ikaho, Ikaho Town, Shibukawa City. On either side of the 365 stone steps are a range of stores such as an onsen, souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes, specialty shops selling onsen-manju (a bun stuffed with azuki-bean paste) and amusement arcades where the old-fashioned shooting games can be enjoyed.

    Visited the farm shop to purchase grapes. Ice cream of various fruits flavor are sold on site. Yummy and relatively cheap. Friendly staff.

    This townhouse is located 25 minutes from the Kan’etsu Shibukawa Ikaho Interchange. It was the residence of the resident minister of the then Kingdom of Hawaii and was one of the properties Robert W. Irwin used as a summer villa. It is one of the few buildings in Japan which were once owned by the Kingdom of Hawaii and is now a designated Historical Site. The townhouse is free of charge to enter and exhibits such as a saber (ceremonial sword) on which the Gosan no Kiri family crest is engraved, and the newly established guidance service allow visitors to learn more about the relationship between Hawaii and Ikaho.

    This grape picking tourism farm is located approximately 20 minutes from the Kan-etsu Expressway Shibukawa Ikaho Interchange. The farm is open from early August to late September and has around 30 vineyards. It of course has varieties such as Delaware and Kyoho grapes, and also large, white Jasmine grapes, Pione grapes, which are even larger than Kyoho with a very concentrated flesh, and Izunishiki grapes, first-class in both size and taste.

    This long-established brewery is located at the foot of the southwestern side of Mt. Akagi, in Kitatachibana Town, Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture. It continues to use cool, clear underground water to make its sake. It is where the refined Japanese rice wine, Kanto no Hana is produced, and the surrounding area remains a natural environment where fireflies dance and freshwater crabs play. The special brewery’s signature refined sake, Kanto no Hana, uses the especially suitable Wakamizu rice produced in Gunma Prefecture to give the sake its characteristic flavor and sharpness that a person will never tire of drinking. Sake, shochu other liquor can also be tasted at the shop front.

    Melody Line is located on the way towards Roadside Station GreenFlower Stock Farm Ogo, from the Gunma Prefectural Livestock Experiment Station on National Route 353. There are a total of 10 places in Gunma Prefecture where there is a groove dug into the road which produces a melody-like sound when driving at a constant speed (at the speed limit). At this place, a melody called Tulip can be heard. It was composed by Takeshi Inoue, who lived in Maebashi City and composed many melodies and children’s songs such as Mushi no Koe and Umi.

    "This educational facility for youth is located on the shore of Lake Akagi Onuma, which is approximately one hour from the Kan’etsu Expressway Akagi Interchange. Although it is most often used for school events such as camping outings and youth group outdoor activities, it is also available to be used by any group of eight or more people. There are various experience activities available, such as ""cutter training"" learning to row large cutter boats, ""treeing"" which is using ropes to climb trees, and others. There is also a campsite, cooking area and campfire pit available, and in the winter, visitors can enjoy skiing and snowshoeing."

    A fruit farm where you can pick strawberries located a 10-minute drive from the Shibukawa-Ikaho interchange on the Kan-etsu Expressway via National Route 17. The farm's strawberries are grown using raised planters, ensuring that everyone from young children to senior citizens can have fun picking strawberries without having to bend over. The greenhouses also incorporate universal design principles so that wheelchair and stroller users can easily enter. If you're timing's right, you can watch the Minakami steam locomotive pass right by the greenhouses - but do be aware that the train doesn't operate every day.

    This Old Bell Clock Tower in the Isezaki Domain lord’s residence is the oldest reinforced concrete structure in Gunma. Completed in 1916 during the Taisho period thanks to the donation of Keisuke Kobayashi who runs a chemist in Yokohama. It told the time to the town until 1937 when the metal in the clock and bell was used for the war efforts. The clock was restored after the war to its Taisho period state for the municipal government’s 50th anniversary. You can get a great feeling for the romanticism of the Taisho period with the red brick walls, renaissance windows and domed roof.

    This folkcraft shop is located in an alley of the stone steps in the Ikaho Hot Spring area of Ikaho, Ikaho Town. In addition to folk toys such as temari (traditional handball game), kendama (cup and ball game), kaleidoscopes, and pellet drums, the shop also sells pottery, woodwork goods, dyed textiles, and other folkcrafts. In addition, the first floor of the shop is a teahouse called “Sabo Temari” that offers handmade cakes and other items.

This factory was founded by a couple and their milk cow (a Brown Swiss) to achieve their dream of raising cows and making cheese. They offer a wide selection of excellent hand-made cheeses with low salt, no additives, and milky textures.

    This small marsh is located close to the peak of “Mt. Akagi.” At an elevation of 1360 meters and 800 meters in circumference, this area is a treasure trove of marsh and alpine plants. The Japanese azalea in summer and the leaves in fall are worth a look. There is a boardwalk around the Kakumanbuchi pool for a casual 30-minute stroll.

    This crater lake is at the summit of Mt. Akagi in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. It has become a year-round tourist hot spot. Spring welcomes the best season for viewing azaleas here, and in summer you can enjoy boating and camping. The Mt. Akagi Summer Festival is held every year in August. In autumn, the colored leaves reflect off the blue of the lake, and the usual ban on smelt fishing is lifted during the winter.
