    This forest park is located at the western foot of Mt. Akagi between 600 and 700 meters above sea level. Visitors can enjoy the park's gorgeous natural beauty interwoven with Japan's rich, seasonal diversity, including plants in full bloom in spring, lush greenery in summer, spectacular foliage in fall, and the reverberating cries of wild birds in winter. Aiming to achieve harmony between human beings and nature, for more than 30 years the park has worked to create an environment in which plants can grow lush and vibrant and in which insects and animals can live with ease, and today visitors can catch sight of a wide variety of plants and insects living in a state very close to untouched nature. Walking paths are covered with comfortable to walk on bark chips; and benches, chairs, and restrooms made with timber from forest thinning are placed in key locations, making it easy for visitors to take a relaxing walk in the forest and see all kinds of plants and insects.

    全部廻ると2時間、1万歩くらいかかるようです。ルートも一本道ではなく分岐しているので、自分の位置が直ぐ分からなくなります。なので案内図を忘れずに歩き始めましょう。良く整備されたハイキングコースというイメージです。気持ちの良い森の中、思う存分迷ってみましょう。

    This park is located in Ikaho Town, Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture, along Jomo-Sanzan Panorama Highway, which lies on the way to Lake Haruna from Ikaho Hot Springs. Located in the middle of Mt. Haruna, the observation deck gives a view of the hot springs, Mt. Onokoyama, Mt. Komochi and Mt. Akagi. The park is well-known as one of the most famous azalea sites in Kita Kanto, and from mid-May to late May every year, visitors can see rhododendrons grow in groups against a backdrop the fresh green fields across Mt. Haruna and the town of Ikaho.

    伊香保温泉から榛名湖へ向かう途中にある公園で、春のつつじの名所として有名です。かなり標高が高いので、伊香保温泉の街並みや、赤城山、谷川岳などが一望できます。

There are also plazas which can be adapted for different purposes and this well-recommended park can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The park’s combination playground equipment and fluffy bouncing dome are very popular with children. In the water park, there are splashing pools, volcanic fountains and cool waterfalls, as well as murmuring streams that are relaxing to the listener. Also, on the south side of the outdoor stage, there is a barbeque area where visitors can enjoy day camping.

    This park is located in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, in a scenic part of the southern side of Mt. Akagi. The park, covering a vast total area of 77.9 hectares has a variety of facilities and playground equipment. The Adventure Forest with athletic equipment built with logs, and the Water Plaza, where children can play games such as raft crossing, is popular with children. There is also a picnic area, promenade and bird-watching hut, among other facilities. Visitors can look at the skunk cabbage and iris flowers and see wild birds such as grey herons and cuckoos. Visitors can also enjoy fishing at the fishing pond.

    This park which is located in Maebashi City was renovated in 2013. The spacious park has several large combination playground equipment in each area, as well as a wide variety of toys, such as bicycles and electric carts. There is also a fluffy dome, a water park area and wall climbing, as well as many benches placed around the park so people can rest. The park is a place where both children and adults can play to their heart’s content. In addition, there is also the Maebashi Children’s Cultural Center, which can be enjoyed even on days when it is raining in the park, with its planetarium and Waku-Waku Aqua.

    This park is located on the Maebashi Castle ruins in Otemachi, Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. It was the first park to be opened in Maebashi City, 1905, and doubles as a Russo-Japanese War memorial. The park is located in an area with an exquisite view of the Tone River, Mt. Haruna, Mt. Asama and Mt. Myogi, and is very well known as a cherry viewing spot. Inside the park grounds, there is the Rinkokaku with an elegant Japanese garden, a grass lawn and Runa Park, an affordably priced, old-fashioned amusement park, among others. Visitors can enjoy the sights at night as well, when the park is lit up during the cherry blossom viewing season.

    This park can be reached by bus from the JR Maebashi Station. It is located next to the Omuro Park bus stop. It has been selected as one of the top 100 historical parks in Japan, and contains the Nakafutago burial mound, burial mound M-1, and restorations of the Akagi-style houses of sericulturists in the late Edo period. In the center of the park is a marsh called Goryo Numa, where fishing spots have been set up and visitors can catch koi carp, crucian carp and other types of fish. Cosmos and sunflowers bloom in the park square and there are also a shallow pond and river, and a fluffy dome for children to bounce on, among other things for families to enjoy together.

    This comprehensive park is located approximately 15 minutes by car from the JR Joetsu Line's Shibukawa Station. It is located 600 meters above sea level, covers 57.2 hectares and has a view looking out towards Mt. Akagi. It is famous as a flower viewing spot for Yoshino cherry trees, and many people come to see the Shibukawa Sakura Festival which is held when the cherry trees are in bloom. The park's main facilities include a children's playground with play equipment, an athletics stadium area, gymnasium and skating rink, among others. Visitors can also enjoy camping and barbequing here. (A reservation is required.)

    "This park is located along the Hirasawa River in Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture. There is a waterway which connects Ono Pond inside the park to the Hirasawa River, and approximately 20 types, 8,000 hydrangeas are planted here. For one month beginning in mid-June, the park celebrates a hydrangea festival and lights up the hydrangea beautifully lining the paths in the darkness. There are also several courses in pruning and cuttage, as well as haiku and photography exhibitions available. Additionally, there are also literary monuments located within the park, such as the Basho haiku monument and Izumi Kyoka's ""Hydrangea of the Forest""."

    A park sprawling away just beyond the exit of Ikaho Ropeway Miharashi Station. The “Tokimeki Deck” extending from the station offers a fabulous view of the Ikaho hot spring district far below. At night, the town lights up like a Christmas tree, making the park an excellent destination for a date. The view is also highly seasonal, with azaleas coloring the landscape in spring, autumn foliage in fall, and snow in winter. On clear days, visitors can see all the way to Mt. Akagi and Tanigawa Mountain Range. With playground equipment for children, Uenoyama Park is also a great place for families to enjoy.
