    久住高原東の広い山裾にある日帰り温泉です。4年ぶりに再訪しました。温泉の泉質はNa・Mg-炭酸水素塩・塩化物温泉で長湯温泉と同系の湯です。券売機で380円の入浴券を購入し浴室へ。内湯浴槽は大きめな浴槽でちょうどいい加減の湯温でした。露天風呂も大きい浴槽で内湯よりぬるめでゆっくりと浸かれました。淡黄色の少し濁った感じの良温泉でした。広い敷地内にはガーデン等様々な施設があるようです。

    家族風呂を利用しました。 お湯はモール泉でしょうか。コーラ色してます。 湯あたりは柔らかく、ちょうどいい温度でした。湯船は小さかったです。 洗い場に謎のマットがありました。 脱衣所も狭く、奥にカーテンで仕切られたトイレがありました。 お湯はよかったですし、お店の方も親切です。

    明礬温泉の老舗旅館の岡本屋さんの温泉施設で、石垣の上に立つ山小屋風の建物です。露天風呂はありませんが、天井が高くて開放感があり、大きな窓からはアーチ型の明礬橋や別府湾を一望できます。浴槽には湯の華がかすかに漂い、硫黄の匂いと相まって温泉気分が盛り上がります。湯上り休憩していたら地獄蒸し卵をサービスしてくれました。

    温泉で有名な天ヶ瀬、九重などに囲まれていて玖珠は温泉ではあまり有名ではないが、この野田温泉は国道沿いにあり、家族風呂が充実しています。風呂自体も広く子供も大喜びでした。泉質はクセのない無色無臭な感じで万人受けする感じです。ドライブ途中などにオススメします。

    別府、亀川にある公衆浴場。リニューアルされたようで、きれいな建物だった。お湯はもちろん本物の温泉。あつ湯とぬる湯があったが、ぬる湯の方でも結構熱い。洗い場はいたってシンプルで、シャンプーやボディソープなどの備品はない。

    部屋数は多くありません。おすすめはコテージの宿泊です。庭でバーベキューができ、家族で存分に盛り上がりました。それぞれに部屋風呂があるのも、家族旅行には嬉しいかも。(コロナウイルス感染拡大前に宿泊しました)

    杵築市にある、市営の共同浴場。外観は新しいですが、浴槽は石造りで、濃い緑色の濁り湯がかけ流しされています。浴槽は2つに分けられていて、源泉と水が一緒に入れられています。床は温泉成分で赤茶けています。濃厚な強食塩泉。昔からこの地に沸いている温泉だそうです。

    少し熱い温泉で、脱衣所とくっついている独特な温泉。入り口もアパート?のような感じでまさに温泉アパート!近所の方は毎日入れるのかーと羨ましくなってしまいますね。シャワーはないので、体を洗うだけですかね。透明無色なので、洗おうと思えば洗えますが・・・。

    Situated in Hita, a city famous for its 200 year old tradition of pleasure boating as well as cormorant fishing, since ancient times this hot spring district has been said to grant children to those having difficulty conceiving. Those staying at the hot spring inns in the district can enjoy an evening meal on a pleasure boat while watching cormorant fishing. The waters of the area's simple springs are purported to treat such modern lifestyle diseases as rheumatism, nerve pain, and fatigue. The area has been blessed with an abundance of water since ancient times and an abundance of events are held here, such as the Hita Hina Festival at the beginning of the year; the Mikuma River Tourism Festival, which coincides with the start of the ayu fishing season; the Hita Gion Festival in summer; and the Hita Tenryo Festival in Autumn. Area visitors can also enjoy touring historic sites, such Ontayaki no Sato, birthplace of the National Important Intangible Cultural Property-designated Onta ware; and the House of Gyotoku Family, the residence of a family which first served as the official healers of Kurume Domain and later became modern doctors.

    Together with Beppu, Kamegawa, Kannawa, Kankaiji, Horita, Shibaseki, and Myoban, this hot spring district is one of the eight Beppu Hatto spas and, alongside Kannawa Onsen; it is considered the birthplace of the Beppu Onsen group of hot springs. Hamawaki means seaside but can also mean welling forth at the beach, a name it gained from the fact that a hot spring does indeed gush forth from the beach here. From the early Kamakura period through the Edo period, the area developed as a key land transportation point. The waters of the simple hot spring here are gentle on the skin and are said to ease lower back pain, sprains, sensitivity to cold and mild asthma. Unusual among the municipal public bathhouses in Beppu City, the Hamawaki Hot Spring bathhouse is open until late at night and is frequented by a broad range of customers.

    A hot spring district situated on ground 150 meters above sea level and offering the best view of any the eight Beppu Hatto hot spring districts. Since the hot spring waters were discovered here in the Kamakura period, countless tourists have made their way here to enjoy the picturesque view overlooking Beppu Bay. Beppu is known for its many old-fashioned traditional hot spring ryokan inns, but in contrast to this image, stylish and modern resort hotels stand eave to eave here in this hot spring leisure area. The waters of the area's simple springs and bicarbonate salt springs are said to ease nerve pain, rheumatism, and frozen shoulders. Of the eight Beppu Hatto hot spring districts, this area is known for its particularly clear waters, which are suitable even for drinking. On clear days, visitors can see all the way to distant Shikoku from here.

    A hot spring district which once flourished as a key transportation point between Yufuin, Hita, and Dazaifu. Positioned at the west entranceway to Beppu, since the Edo period the area prospered as a health resort, its hot spring waters soothing away the fatigue of travelers. The area's simple hot springs are said to ease nerve pain, bruises, and autonomic instability. The municipal public hot spring bathhouse opened here in 2003 has an indoor bathing area as well as an outdoor bath surrounded by artfully placed plants and rocks. This is also the first city-run bathhouse to have toilets which can accommodate ostomates, making the facilities easier to use for senior citizens and those with disabilities. The bathhouse also employs universal design principles and has handrails and ramps in the changing areas and tubs.

    A hot spring district and location of the Beppu Kaihin Suna-yu (Beach Sand Bath), where visitors can be buried in sands heated by hot spring waters underneath an awning on a beach looking out over Beppu Bay. This hot spring health resort area once flourished as the northern entranceway to Beppu in the Edo period, serving as a transportation point on the way to Kokura Domain in Buzen Province. The area's sodium-chloride spring generates an abundant flow of piping hot water along the coast, and its waters are said to ease rheumatoid arthritis, motor paralysis, and minor cases of high blood pressure, in addition to aiding recovery from fatigue. The Beppu Kaihin Suna-yu (Beach Sand Bath), which began operating in 1986 inside Shoningahama Park, can accommodate more than 10 bathers at a time. A movable awning was installed at the site in 2002, ensuring that visitors can enjoy being covered in the hot sands even when it rains.
