- This white lighthouse stands on Hinomisaki in Hidaka-gun, Wakayama Prefecture. At 128 meters high, it is one of the tallest lighthouses in Wakayama Prefecture. The area around the lighthouse is known as a scenic spot for beautiful sunsets, and on clear days, Shikoku and Awaji Island can be seen. The lighthouse is open to the public on the third Sunday of every month from 2:00 p.m. for about three hours.
