This soy sauce maker is approximately ten minutes on foot from JR Yuasa Station. The establishment is recognizable by its Kinzanji-miso sign. You can tour the brewery under a worker's guidance and get up close to cedar barrels that have been in use for over 100 years. They provide visitors experiences not available at other soy sauce breweries, like the chance to stir the contents of these old barrels, helping the fermentation process along. They also sell merchandise including specialty items like soy sauce made just for the specific food, yuzu-ponzu sauce, and their top prize winning Kiippon Kuromame Shoyu of Yuasa Soy Sauce. Their cafe serves coffee and soy sauce soft serve ice cream.
