    Shiga Nagahama-shi Ishidacho 576
"This museum is located 10 minutes from the Nagahama Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway. The place where the museum stands is believed to be the site of the residence where Warring States period samurai and military commander Ishida Mitsunari was born. The museum displays ancient texts, armor, and picture scroll panels connected to or concerning Ishida, and visitors can also see a photograph of Ishida's skull unearthed at the Sangenin Temple on the grounds of Kyoto's Daitokuji Temple. In addition, a bronze statue on the grounds which may be freely viewed was created based on this skull. A stone monument on the grounds is inscribed with characters which read ""The birthplace of Ishida Jibusho"" (his official court title). As the museum is not always open, prospective visitors should call in advance to confirm museum hours."
