    "Furaibo, which opened in Nagoya in 1963 (Showa 38), came up with the idea of adding sauce to chicken wings after an ordering error, and created the Nagoya specialty, tebasaki (chicken wings). The restaurant uses a secret aged sauce and has opened stores throughout Japan, but instead of franchising, it has introduced a ""goodwill sharing"" system, allowing each store to take advantage of its own unique characteristics."

The restaurant only has counter seating and often sees lines of waiting customers forming outside the door, particularly during lunchtime. The establishment is frequented by locals as well as ramen-lovers who travel here from far and wide.

    名古屋市公会堂でコンサートがあり、その前に訪問。事前情報全く無しの状態で普通のラーメン屋だと思っていたら開店前に並ぶ人がおり、慌てて私も並ぶ。開店直後にはもう満席で待つ人も現れるほどの人気店。女性1人客もかなりいらっしゃいます。ただ味は美味しかったもののそこまですごいとも思われず、私には普通のラーメン屋さんでした。

    土曜22時過ぎに訪問。 テーブルに通され、各々らーめんこってり820円、ホルモン+チャーシュー+角煮がのった肉肉セット1,660円、キムチ+モヤシ+煮卵の載った野菜マシマシセットトッピングチャーシュー1,370円を頼みビールを飲みながら待つ事8分程で着丼。 私は肉肉セットでしたが肉は全体的に味が濃く、角煮が大きく食べ応えが非常にありました。 らーめんは安定の天一！

    呼び込みも多いこの地区。料理店もいくらか分からないので、安心して入ることができた。 酒のアテもそれなりに揃っていたのがよかった。

    名古屋市伏見のビジネス街にあります。醤油ラーメン700円をいただきました。券売機で購入すると店員さんが麺の茹で具合、油、スープ濃度を選べます。硬めの麺は歯ごたえがありおいしかったです。玉ねぎ、にんにく等のトッピングも自由に使えます。

    Went to its branch at ESCA, Tsubaki-cho, Nakamura. We ordered stir fried choi sum, mapo tofu and gyoza. The mapo tofu tastes exactly like the Szechuan version though not as spicy.

    大須観音に行ったついでに、ある意味で「なごや飯」の典型でもあるスガキヤを体験したくてこちらを訪問しました。場所は、大須観音から直ぐの参道です。しかし、訪問当日は店内改装の工事中で、7月下旬まで利用できないとの案内がありました。仕方ないので、近所にある別のスガキヤを目指すこととなりました。（スガキヤ大須店編へ続く）
