Josui Main Restaurant (徳川町 如水 本店)

A ramen restaurant located in Higashi Ward, Nagoya City. Here you can enjoy ramen which combines special order noodles made with natural lye water together with a choice, chemical seasoning-free broth. In addition to the popular shio (salt) ramen, the restaurant offers a variety of other dishes such as a chashu-don roasted pork rice bowl. The restaurant only has counter seating and often sees lines of waiting customers forming outside the door, particularly during lunchtime. The establishment is frequented by locals as well as ramen-lovers who travel here from far and wide.

ここの汁なし担々麺は玉ねぎとゴマが絡み合ってめちゃめちゃおすすめです。最後の追い飯も無料でコスパもいいです。

Aichi is a prefecture of great natural beauty with Nagoya city at its heart, a busy hub home to a labyrinth of underground shops and the 17th-century Nagoya Castle. Castles are easy to find in this history-rich prefecture, but the highlight for history buffs has to be the Museum Meiji-mura, where preserved buildings from the turn of the 20th century are displayed in all their grandeur in an outdoor museum.
