"This area revitalization facility is located roughly 10 minutes by car from the Fujieda-Okabe Interchange on the Shin-Tomei Expressway. Under their motto of ""Fresh, Secure, Safe"", they process and sell products, and offer experiences with making soba and agriculture. There is a walking course from Shirafuji no Sato to the mountain, and so you can enjoy hiking while gazing at the white wisteria which bloom fantastically in May. The facility operates preserved flower classes, hula dance classes and ocarina/harmonica classes."

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
