    This hiking course is located on the grounds of Izumi Municipal Seishonen no Ie, a social education facility built around the naturally lush Mt. Hachigamaru and Mt. Makio, part of the Izumi Mountain Range south of Kongo-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi-National Park. The 1.4-kilometer-long course traverses a 200-meter difference in altitude and extends from Izumi Municipal Seishonen no Ie to the 422-meter-high peak of Mt. Hachigamaru. From an observatory on top of the mountain, visitors can get a sweeping view of Izumi City as well as Kansai International Airport, Osaka Bay, and Awaji Island.
