    This is an hot spring bathhouse within the GotembaKogen Resort Toki-no-Sumika, a retreat in Koyama, Gotemba City. This bathhouse uses simple alkaline spring waters from the source and is said to be beneficial for nerve pain and muscle soreness, joint pain and frozen shoulders, motor paralysis, and joint stiffness. In addition to the outdoor bath, the Tenkunoyu, with a view of Mt. Fuji, the main bathing area also has a carbonated outdoor and indoor baths. High grade charcoal, binchotan, is used in the sauna. After bathing, visitors can enjoy the rest area, relaxation room, the dining area, or leisurely spend time in the adult only space for those 18 or older.

    休みの日、夕方以降に来ることが多いです。夕方6時以降入場だと割引も有ります。18歳以下は入れない温泉。露天風呂は炭酸風呂で長湯すると気持ちが良いですよ。

    東名高速御殿場インターから車で20分程度のところにあります。さすが名門コースだけあってコースメンテナンス、スタッフの対応などは素晴らしく、どのホールからも富士山を眺めることができます。また来たいゴルフ場のひとつです。

    To reach the Gotemba Trail New 5th Station, visitors can either drive there by coming off the Tomei Expressway at the Gotemba Interchange and then taking the Fujisan Skyline highway to the Gotemba Trail New 5th Station Parking Area, or take the Tozan Bus from Gotemba Station on the JR Gotemba Line and get off at the Gotemba Trail New 5th Station bus stop. There are no restrictions on parking private cars at Gotemba Trail New 5th Station, so visitors can drive to Gotemba Trail New 5th Station at any time during the official climbing season to begin their climb of Mt. Fuji. Please note that the trail from Gotemba Trail New 5th Station to the summit of Mt. Fuji is a long one, with a significant elevation gain, so this route is recommended only for people who are physically fit. Near the trail entrance there are public toilets, which are open 24 hours a day, and also a tourist information center and shop. Gotemba Trail New 5th Station is open between early July and early September each year.

They offer a diverse menu including items such as set meals that include Mikuriya soba noodles, a local specialty, as well as sakura shrimp kakiage (tempura fritter) set meal, supplies of which are limited. The restaurant, which also accepts large groups and is equipped with parking spaces for full-sized busses, is visited by many tourists.

    Very well organized facility, very helpful if you get an English speaking guide. Lots of history and infos. Highly recommended if you love Fuji Mountain.
