    An exhibit hall within the Saitama Prefectural Museum of the Sakitama Ancient Burial Mounds. The Shogunyama Burial Mound was excavated by locals in 1894. From the side-entrance style burial chamber many burial items including horse saddles and helmets, meandering ironware, flag holders, copper bowls, and ring swords were unearthed. You can view remains and relics as well as the interior of the burial chamber. The actual burial items are on display in the National Treasure Exhibition Room of the main building.

    塙保己一記念館はアスピアこだま内にあります。塙保己一の生家や墓はこの場所より北西の方向にあります。とても綺麗で立派な建物ですが、館内は思ったより小さめで、展示は7角形の小さな部屋1部屋だけで、あとはロビー奥の映像コーナーで、塙保己一に関する映像を流しているだけでした。入館料は無料なので、こんなものかなといった感じでした。
