    This is a bakery, loved by the locals, near the Yanaka Elementary School, ten minutes by car from Takasaki Station on the JR Takasaki line. The bakery opens at 7:00 am and offers many kinds of bread such as sweet buns, savory bread, and bread for meals. The homemade curry in the in the ever-popular curry bread is delicious. To keep the umami flavor, the beef, onion, and carrot are grilled and then boiled, and then carefully flavored with two types of curry roux and a secret ingredient. Baked confectionaries such as Croquembouche and other sweets are also recommended. There is a free coffee service offered to patrons as well as a place to eat on site.

    学校が近いせいなのか、時間帯によっては駐車場も一杯になったり、狭い店内にはほかの客のことを考えもせず、話し込んでいる地元のお母さんたちなどがいたりで、最近は滅多に行くことがなくなりました。パンは種類多くて味はまあまあ、ちょっと値段が高いかな。

    朝採れ野菜が店の前で販売されていました。紅心大根１００円長いも１００円等１０数種類が販売されていました。フランスパンとパウンドケーキ買って来ました。小麦粉やバター、酵母にもこだわって作っている様です。楽しみです。

    The Bakery Café Renga is housed in a saw-tooth roof factory that is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan built in the Taisho period. The bakery and shop also has outdoor seats for visitors to enjoy. Saw-tooth roof shaped French toast and raisin filled toast called Raison Monroe are popular. The café menu offering salad and drink sets are also recommended for a stylish lunch. It is located approximately eight minutes by car from JR Kiryu Station.

They sell breads fresh baked in a stone oven made using wheat from local contracted Gunma farmers, the famous waters of the Oze highlands, and locally grown seasonal vegetables. It's made using the same techniques as were used to make Taisho period biscuits and its simple flavor is well loved. Also popular are their Akagi Spring and Autumn Series of breads made with locally grown wheat and Shirakami Kodama natural yeast and entirely without any egg, milk, or soy.

Their Gunma-chan rusk biscuits, made to resemble Gunma prefecture's mascot character, make for a great souvenir.

    お店の隣の駐車場に車を止め、夕方17時ちょっとだったので商品あまりないかなと思いましたがけっこうありました！お客さんも何人かいてレジも並んでました！因みに混んでるときは車の誘導をする警備員が出ています！

    半熟卵入りのカレーパンはできたてでも冷めてしまってもおいしいです。売り切れでしまうこともあるので、早目の来店を。あとはパニーニもオススメですよ。
