    那須に行ったときは必ず寄ってベーグルを買って帰ります。小ぶりでいろいろな味を試したくなります。定番からへぇーっと思う味まで。ベーグルの中にあんこを巻き込むのって、とても難しいと思いますが、さすがプロの技。食べやすいベーグルです。冷凍されたものは少し安いです。

    A bakery specializing in rice flour bread located in front of the Nasu Stained Glass Museum. Rice flour made with Nasu-grown rice is used to create delicious breads in this cozy little shop. The shop’s rice flour breads are chewy and surprisingly fluffy. The Nasu Kogen Shokupan is particularly recommended; you can really taste the sweetness of the rice. The store’s display shelves are covered with 100% rice flour baked sweets as well as 40 to 50 varieties of fresh baked breads such as side dish-style bread, sweet breads, and hard breads made with over 80% rice flour. The shop sells special gluten-free 100% rice flour breads only on Saturdays and Sundays.

    那須ステンドグラス美術館の向かいにあるパン屋さんです。 牛乳パックの形をした看板がキャッチーで目立ちます。 店内は広くはないですが、美味しそうな焼き立てのパンが並んでいて、とても良い香りでした。 パンの種類は豊富で、米粉のパンとソフトクリームを買って帰りました。 帰宅後、パンを食べましたが、中がもっちりしていて、子供が美味しそうに食べてくれました^_^

    Kanaya Hotel Bakery opened in 1968 and offers a delicious new flavor while following the traditional technique from Kanaya Cottage Inn which opened in 1873. About 50 types of bread including plain bread and pastries are sold as well as cookies and cakes. Café La Saison has a café on the second floor and you can feel free to enjoy the cakes as well as the authentic taste.

    Unless you want a meal more suited for lunch avoid this place. The only item resembling a breakfast item was plain toast and cinimon toast. The coffee was very poor as well.

The shop's signature and popular sakura anpan is made with koji malted rice and is stuffed with koshian smooth bean paste made from choice azuki beans. Customers rave that they are filling and substantial despite their small appearance. The shop's shokupan is simple and thus conversely allows no margin for error; baked daily, customers say that you can eat it every single day and never get tired of it.

    This bakery operates out of a historic building once used to host parties for the imperial villa in Nasu. Standing across from the parking lot of the Nasu Teddy Bear Museum, the shop bakes choice breads crafted amidst the area's refreshing air using Nasu' delicious water. Each morning, the shop bakes around 30 varieties of breads, and customers love their delightful wheat aroma and old-fashioned flavors. The shop's Ganso Nasu no Anpan azuki bean bread is its most popular product and comes in small, medium, and large sizes. The extra-large version is stuffed with tsubuan chunky red bean paste and three whole chestnuts. Other popular products include the Maple Bread, made with Canadian maple sugar; and the Marugoto Ringo Pan bread, which is stuffed with custard and a whole apple.

    旦那は玉子入りカレーパン、子供はガーリックパン、私はメープルパンが好きです。 店主も良い方で、那須に遊びに行くと必ず寄るパン屋さんです！ 有名人もいらっしゃるそうです！美味しいからですね。

Most visits to Tochigi revolve around Nikko, a small city home to the spectacular, lavishly decorated Toshogu Shrine and Nikko National Park with its mountains, lakes, waterfalls, onsen, and wild monkeys.
