Opened in 2009, Lake Bake is a bread shop that uses homemade natural yeast and is located next to Kawaguchiko Nature Living Center in Oishi Park. It also features a cafe where you can enjoy bread and a drink while gazing at Lake Kawaguchi. The Lake Bake jukusei, which takes days to create, is sliced thin and topped with butter and jam-a delectable choice.

Bread was really fresh and soft. Good to have it there onsite where they will heat the bread up for you. Good view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji. They also threw in a complimentary custard bread...

Yamanashi Areas

around-area-map

Yamanashi prefecture is the proud home of one of Japan’s most celebrated icons: Mount Fuji. Although the mountain straddles both Yamanashi and Shizuoka, the most breathtaking views of Fuji-san can be seen from the Fuji Five Lakes north of the mountain in Yamanashi prefecture. The plethora of outdoor activities in and around the lakes all have the benefit of the country’s highest mountain as their backdrop, and we can assure you that it is an unforgettable sight.
