- Ibaraki Pref. Kitaibarakishi Otsuchou Camellia 2083
- This prefectural art museum sits on the Izura Coast—a scenic location in Ibaraki City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The interior presents materials and personal effects of Tenshin Okakura, the artist who moved the first section (painting section) of the original Nihon Bijutsu-in to Izura for work. There are special exhibits featuring modern Japanese paintings as well. You must see the Pacific Ocean from the observation lobby. Cafe and museum shop adjacent.

- Ibaraki Kuji-gun Daigomachi Sanuki 1920
- "An art museum in Okukuji Tea Village Park on Prefectural Route 205 in Sanuki, Daigo City, Kuji County. It displays more than 600 pieces by Yamaoka So, a washi paper doll maker. He created his work in the mountain hamlet of Daigo, with the belief that ""nature is the source of creation.” Hina dolls are also displayed during the Cha-no-sato Hina Festival held annually from February to early March."

Ibaraki Areas
Just a stone’s throw from Tokyo, Ibaraki is a coastal prefecture that has mastered juxtapositions, where old shrines meet new scientific discoveries and traditional gardens are frequented by the inventors of some of the newest technology. Head to Mito City's Kairakuen - one of Japan's Three Great Gardens - in spring to experience the cellestial blooming of fantastic cherry blossoms at the annual sakura festival.
