The brightly lit store has everything from vessels you'd use daily to splendid works of art. It's an easily accessible place to browse artfully made pieces of traditional Mashiko ware. Works by Shoji Hamada, a living national treasure, Tatsuzo Shimaoka, and Ichiro Kimura are on display in the exhibition room. Mugs, rice bowls, teapots, and tea incense burners make ideal gifts.

    This shop offers original pieces by Rakuten calligrapher Takahashi Masami, as well as Japanese knickknacks. The atmospheric workshop carries a traditional Kitakata atmosphere, and offers an up-close look at the fun and depth of traditional calligraphy and lettering. Rakuten is a style of art based around imaginative and distorted renderings of the original roots of kanji, ancient Chinese oracle script and bronze inscriptions. They offer a unique beauty that varies wildly from more modern kanji, and you can see exampled used at the station building, local shop signs, ramen bowls, and other places around town. The workshop also offers seal engraving activities to bring home the fun of kanji art.

    A showroom for Edo kiriko glass located inside Kameido Umeyashiki a 10-minute walk from the north exit of Kameido Station on the JR Chuo-Sobu Line. Edo kiriko is a glass craft whose origins date back to 1834 with engravings being applied to the surfaces of glass products; with the passage of time, a variety of glass engraving and cutting techniques were developed and the craft evolved into its current form. Today, Edo kiriko has been designated a Traditional Craft by the Tokyo metropolitan government. The showroom holds special exhibitions and sells glassware produced by the Edo Kiriko Cooperative Association. The Edo Kiriko Festival is held on July 5th on Edo Kiriko Day, and on this day visitors can enjoy workshops and a various beautiful products being sold direct by glassware studios.

This gallery, situated along National Route 307, is operated by Yasubeigama, a family-owned pottery studio now in its fifth generation. The gallery is filled with pieces by father Yasumasa Okuda and his sons Yasuyuki and Masamichi. The pieces on display span everything from old-fashioned Ko-Shigaraki ware to modern styles and primarily consist of tableware as well as flower vases and donabe earthenware pots. The gallery's selection includes plates, cups, and other tableware made using a unique glaze developed by Yasumasa and created in a distinctive, modern style which is not bound by the traditional conventions of Shigaraki ware. Perfect for setting off cuisine, many restaurants order their tableware from the gallery.

The shop also has a ""one tatami mat gallery"" the size of a single tatami mat which artists can apply to use four around a month at a time."

It is operated by Yume Kiln's artist Atsuko Nakao and Akira Nakao, active in the Berlin painting scene. Items like their paintings and small handmade plates are on display and available for purchase. They also offer pottery workshops where you knead the clay yourself, giving visitors the chance to create the work they've conceived while receiving careful instruction (reservations required)."
