    Gallery Kokufu and Cafe Dori are located in a refurbished traditional thatched roof house built over 160 years ago. In the old-fashioned atmosphere, you can try café experience and the other activities like pottery, cooking, and dyeing. They also hold various exhibits and other events using part of the thatched building and the storehouse. It is closed from January to February every year.

    This coffee shop is located on the southern shore of Lake Shinji. From the large windows, you can look out over Lake Shinji, which was chosen as having one of the Japan Sunset Best 100. The white interior has a calm atmosphere with a sense of openness. You can have coffee, tea, pizza, pasta and other menu items while looking at Lake Shinji, with its different appearances from season to season. The sunset-show on the lake that starts from the time when the sky turns reddish-brown is a superb view that takes everyone's breath away. The peak time to see the setting sun is 30 minutes before sunset. The climax is seeing the silhouette of Yomegashima Island in the sunset that paints the lake red.
