- Wakayama Pref. Higashimurogunkushimotochou Arida 1157
- Here you can enjoy both the sea and the aquarium. Enjoy sites that you can’t see anywhere else including the world’s northernmost largest community of table coral and schools of swimming bluefin tuna. You can also try feeding the turtles and the tuna or go whale watching and check out the flying fish. In 2005 it joined the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands.

- Wakayama Pref. Nishimurogunsusamichou Esumi
- "This venue is located in Kumano-Karekinada Kaigan Prefectural Natural Park approximately 15 minutes on foot from JR Mirozu and Esumi Stations. As the name suggests, it takes children's songs as its theme. When it opened in 1987 it was the first park of its kind in Japan. It has areas like the Kishu Kids Song Plaza featuring three tunes, including the locally popular ""The Flowers Laughed."" The Kids Song Promenade along the coast has monuments to seven songs. Music plays from the park's statues and monuments, letting you hear the tunes for yourself. Continuing south will bring you to the National Natural Monument of Esuzaki Island with its native forest."

- Wakayama Higashimuro-gun Kushimotocho Kushimoto 1727-1
- This park is located a little southwest along the Shionomisaki Loop Line from Kushimoto Koza High School and Kushimoto Junior High School. There is an arbor and benches installed here, so visitors can rest and use the clean toilet facilities. Additionally, because the park is on a hill, another of its best features is that visitors can see the sea and the nature of the surrounding townscape, mountains and sandy beaches. At night, visitors can enjoy a different view from the daytime. Depending on the season, hibiscus and azalea bloom here, creating a scenery unique to the season.

Almost nothing in English, so it was not that interesting. Location is good, but they could have done something more interesting in there. Since it is on the way to see the cliffs and the sea, I...

Wakayama Areas
Wakayama prefecture unites pilgrims, food lovers, and culture buffs in a tranquil corner of Japan at the base of the Kii Peninsula. The setting for many a Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail, Wakayama invites those in search of spirituality from one side of the prefecture to the other, from the 100-plus Buddhist temples of the sacred Mount Koya in the west to the inspiring temples of the Kumano Sanzan set among breathtaking nature in the east. Once the grueling hike is complete, make a beeline for Wakayama city to savor some of the country’s most delicious ramen noodles.
