The shop sells Nara no Kaori senbei rice crackers toasted over a high grade ubame oak charcoal fire, Kenjo Mikasa dorayaki pancake sandwiches which have even been officially presented to the Imperial family, and other Japanese confections. You'll also find seasonal confections inspired by Nara's four seasons.

    This Japanese confectionary shop is located in Takabatake-cho, Nara City. The shop's signature product is the Kakisuga, a cylindrical confection consisting of kanroni sweet glazed yuzu rind rolled up in dried persimmon. The shop also sells Nara pickles made with daiginjo sake lees, and the shop's Kakisuga, Nara pickles, and tea assortment makes a perfect Nara souvenir.

    奈良のお土産に購入。猿沢池の近くにお店があります。本当に小さなお店です。柿寿賀を1本購入。1700閉店で、カードもつかえます。お茶うけや、ワイン、お酒のお供にもいただけます。

The shop sells signature, Nara-inspired confections like the famous Aoniyoshi, Takamadoyama, and Mikasa, as well as seasonal namagashi fresh Japanese confections.

    近鉄の奈良駅のそばの商店街の中にあります。店頭でみたらし団子を販売されていて、その場でちょっといただけるように１本売りもされています。つくっているのがみえるので、みたらしを購入してたべました。オーソドックスなおいしさ。どら焼きとかお土産になるようなお菓子も販売されています。

    This Japanese confectionary shop is located in 1-Chome Nijo-cho, Nara City. The shop is famous for its Miso Senbei rice crackers made with traditional Nara gotoku miso mixed into the dough. Other confections the shop sells include Shika Sable cookies shaped like Nara's famous deer; Kuzumochi starch cakes made with Yoshino kuzu, a local specialty product; and Kawara Senbei crackers branded with a five-storied pagoda and other Nara imagery.

    東大寺から車で20分ぐらいかかります。お客様専用駐車場が無いため(私が行ったときは店の横の駐車場に空きがなかった)ので大変でした。道がかなり狭くUターン、直進が出来ずバックで戻りました。東大寺近くの商店街でも帰るようなのでそこがオススメです。味は普通です。

    友人から美味しいと聞いていたので、土曜日の午前９時10分に訪れましたが、ナント！予約数のみの販売で本日分は売り切れとの事！ 朝早くなら買えるかも…ではなく、件名の通り予約をお勧めします。ちなみに、「やき餅」の写真は店員さんに撮影を拒否されたので、ご自身の目でお確かめください。 また、駐車場も店のガレージで１台分程度なのでご注意下さい。

    創業90周年の感謝祭開催中にお邪魔しました。 予約電話からスタッフさんの対応は良かったです。 入店してからもスタッフさんの言葉遣いは良く、丁寧な対応をしていただきましたが、私の後のお客様にはお茶を淹れておられたのに、私にはお茶が出ませんでした。 予約してまで購入しているのに、お客様によって差をつけるのは、いかがなものかと思いました。

    大和郡山イオンモール内にあるたい焼きの美味しいお店です。基本のあずきは おさえておきつつ、クロワッサンたい焼きも 頂きました。こちらは、サクサクの食感で たい焼きとは一線を画しており美味しかったです。

    ＪＲ奈良駅の２階には、奈良の名産品を扱うお店がたくさん入っていました。そのひとつが、こちらのお店、寛永堂さんです。 数年前に奈良に来た時に見つけたお店で、こちらの「三笠焼」という名前のどら焼きがおいしかったことを思い出しました。今回は、お店の看板商品の一つらしい「大納言清澄」というお菓子も購入。小豆を寒天で覆ったようなお菓子で、どちらのお菓子も、とてもおいしくいただきました。

With a reputation almost as stellar as that of Kyoto, Nara is a must-visit for those searching for the remains of "traditional Japan." The largely green Nara city holds the majority of the prefecture’s treasures, such as the iconic Todai-ji Temple, in which a 15-meter tall Great Buddha sits, and Nara Park, where deer flock to befriend passersby. While mountains are by no means hard to come by in this area, for hiking with a reward, head to the Kii Mountains’ Yoshino district in spring, when the hillsides put on an impressive display of white and pink cherry blossoms.
