    Yamanashi Minamikoma-gun Minobucho Minobu 3678
"This long-standing Japanese confectionary shop, located in the Minobusan Kuonji Temple neighborhood not far from the Shimobeonsen-Hayakawa Interchange on the Chubu-Odan Expressway, has been in business since the Edo period. The inventor of Minobu manju buns, a local Minobu specialty product, since it was established in 1626, the shop has continued to make Japanese confections as the official purveyor for the Minobusan Kuonji Temple using techniques passed from parent to child. In March 2018, the shop renewed the shape and flavor of its signature Minobu manju while still retaining the same great molasses taste based on the concept of a ""confection which enhances celebrations;"" the shop also changed the way the name of the confection was written, from the hiragana syllabary to kanji characters."
