    Born from the amalgamation of 20 years of history and the thoughts of many people, the Ippitsu Keijo Tegami Museum began with “Ippitsu Keijosho Award” built of the theme of Honda Sakuzemon Shigetsugu’s letters. In the regular exhibit, you can see the history of the “Ippitsu Keijosho Award” along with the prize-winning pieces. Also, sometimes special exhibits are held.

    A history museum located in Kasumigajo Park in Kasum-cho, Maruoka-cho, Sakai City. The museum opened in 1978 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the construction of Maruoka Castle. On display are materials including armor and historical documents related to the historical occupants of Maruoka Castle including the Honda family and the Arima family.

    あわら温泉駅からタクシーで30-40分くらい。 入館は無料です。 係りの方が丁寧に説明してくれました。 周囲には「蓮如上人」や「肉付き面」関係のお寺等があります。
