A white sand beach connecting to scenic Kamogaura on the north side of downtown Wajima City. Notable for its blue skies and clear waters, the beach was also included in a list of Selection of Best 100 Beach because of its beauty. The beach's waters are shallow, ensuring that even small children can safely play in the ocean here. There's also an adjoining campground, making this a great destination for outdoor activities such as sea fishing and barbecuing. A nearby walking path leads to Kamogaura, as well, and one of the area's appeals is the fact that there's much more to enjoy here than just a day at the beach, including the stately Tatsugasaki Lighthouse and Horaizan Park. The beach is also easily accessible by car thanks to nearby parking.

Ishikawa Areas

around-area-map

Long, thin Ishikawa prefecture runs along the Sea of Japan up into Noto Peninsula. Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
