Ishikawa Pref. Kagashi Ushiodumachi A place
"This lagoon is located in northern Kaga City. Together with Lake Kibagata and Imaegata Lagoon, which has since been entirely reclaimed, it is one of the ""Three Lakes of Kaga."" There is a massive fountain in center of the lagoon that shoots water 70 meters into the air ten times per day. Visitors can enjoy seeing it illuminated it at night or viewing it up-close from the house boat that cruises the lake. There is also a hot spring, Katayamazu Onsen, located on the lakeshore."

Ishikawa Areas

around-area-map

Long, thin Ishikawa prefecture runs along the Sea of Japan up into Noto Peninsula. Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
