    A restaurant located in the Akakura Kanko Hotel, a hotel with a bathhouse whose baths are free flowing spring water “kakenagashi” style from a natural hot spring. Situated on the top floor of the hotel’s Premium building, just erected in 2016, an elegant atmosphere covers the restaurant. The restaurant’s windows offer an expansive view of the area from1,000 meters above sea level. In the morning, the establishment serves an orthodox Western-style breakfast. Have the American breakfast, which comes with an omelet, sausages, and ratatouille; or the healthy breakfast, which comes with steamed vegetables and ham. Breakfast and dinner are by reservation only. If you are lucky, you just might get to see an “unkai” sea of clouds unfurling beyond the windows.

    ログハウス風の店内は2階もあり、意外と大人数でもいけます。食事はなかなかのボリュームです。デザートに自家製かぼちゃプリンがおすすめ。完全禁煙で店内はいいのですが、入り口で愛煙家の方が嗜まれてるのはすこし辛い時があります。

    ごく普通のスキー場の食堂と言った感じ。値段はまあまあ。クレープが売りのようだけど、昼時だったので誰も食べていなかった。店構えから席が少なそうだけど、中に入ると広かった。無料で野沢菜とたくあんが置いてあり、みな取っていた。

    新婚旅行でアメリカ・カリフォルニアのキャナリーローに行きました。この名を聞くと、ついお店に入って当時を思い出しています。おしゃれなお店で、ドリンクバーがあるので、食事の後にゆっくり仲間と話すのによいと思います。ランチパスタはサラダバー、ドリンクバー付きです。パスタはモッツァレラとトマトのパスタにしました。とろとろのモッツァレラが美味しくてトマトソースとの相性が良いです。
