The buffet includes over 15 types of obanzai Kyoto home cooking dishes which maximize the deliciousness of vegetables, soups, steamed vegetables, curries, and desserts. The restaurants also serve course meals which include shabushabu. The salad bar includes vegetables not often seen in supermarkets such as kinbi ninjin carrots and black daikon radishes served as sticks and slices. Open in the mornings, Kamo is also a popular place to eat breakfast after staying the night in Kyoto.

We visited this restaurant twice. Lovely setting by the canal. Staff were very helpful as we dont eat meat and the food was delicious. Recommend you pay a visit.

金閣寺に近い店。住宅街にあり、隠れ家の趣です。主人はフレンチレストランの経験もあるとのことなので、さり気にフレンチっぽい感じもあります。こちらの名物のサバ鮨は美味しいし、姿が端正。料理が美味しい事にプラスされた、奥様と主人の二人の醸し出す雰囲気も良いです。
