In addition to sweets and marine products, there’re also original items such as the popular “homemade pickled olive oil oysters” and “Seman-Doman” talisman. Their rich bowls, pasta, and other dishes use plenty of seafood and fresh young sardines from the sea nearby. Pets are allowed at the outside seating.

    This restaurant is in Nagasaka, Akame-cho, Nabari City, Mie Prefecture. The whole shop has window walls, and along with the terrace seating it has a fully open vibe. It has been featured in the media as a restaurant related to the descendants of the Iga ninja, and is great for casually dining on Iga beef, one of the region's local specialties. Try their Iga beef soup, beef rice bowl, and more. The beef soup features lots of local ingredients and heaps of vegetables including burdock and carrot. They also sell souvenirs like traditional crafts.

    赤目四十八滝のバスの終点の広場前。 店先で焼きだんご350円というのを販売していて、団子は白、緑、薄い紫の三種類。紫芋を練りこんだという薄い紫のにしてみましたが、ほんのり甘いお団子が抜群においしかったです。

    Run by a couple, Le Cinq is a restaurant with a home-like atmosphere. It is located along National Route 22, west of Kuratayama Park going toward the Outer Shrine. It serves full French-style dinner and lunch courses using ingredients produced in Mie Prefecture, including Kinso chicken and Kiwami pork. Reservations are required for the popular French Kaiseki, which uses special ingredients produced in Mie Prefecture. However, a more casual menu is available at dinnertime, and customers can order food a la carte or just have a glass of wine. Customers can also hold parties or family dinners here.

Inside the spacious at-home eatery, they offer a lobster course with fried lobster and rich delicious lobster soup stock, and a conger eel rice bowl. Their popular Ise Shima Meibutsu Set includes Ise specialty Ise udon noodles, and Shima's specialty hand-kneaded sushi. There is also a cafe corner and shop selling numerous popular souvenirs such as Ise Shima specialty akafuku (mochi rice cake with sweetened bean paste), shinju-zuke (pickledscallops) and itoin senbei (rice crackers marked with old Chinese seal).

Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
