Nigata Pref. Nigatashi Nishikan-ku Kakudahama 1661
This is a winery located along the hilly coastal area in Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture. In the vast vineyard there are various kinds of facilities such as a wine shop, a wine cellar, a restaurant, a bakery, a day-trip hot spring facility, an accommodation facility and an English garden. Nigata Pref. Minamiuonumashi Urasa 5531-1
This winery in Minamiuonuma City has been making wine with skills cultivated in Bordeaux, France and grapes cultivated by Minamiuonuma's climate for over 40 years. Its wines are highly praised by wine professionals for their quality. The winery ages their wines in rooms chilled with natural snow. As they put it, their unique wines are cultivated, protected, and brewed by the snow. The winery's shop offers a selection of their wines, including their snow-aged wine sekki and wine-related items, as well as free wine tastings. The shop's restaurant serves cuisine made with fresh local ingredients as well as their wines.

Nice wines, a bit expensive. Good restaurant and lots of souvenirs The restaurant next to the winery is goof for lunch. Very inexpensive prices. Nice view.

The winery north of Joetsu City in Niigata Prefecture includes vineyards and a wine shop, a wine cellar with an attached yukimuro refrigerated snow room, and a restaurant where visitors can enjoy wine and local foods. Zenbei Kawakami, known as the “Japanese father of wine” established the winery in 1890. It is said to be one of the oldest wineries in existence in Japan and has continued making high-quality domestic wines. Various wines such as premium wine made only from grapes grown at the vineyard on site and the famous wine “Miyukibana”, which was awarded a silver medal in the “Japan Wine Competition,” are available at the shop.
