- Bashamichi Jyuban-kan built in 1967 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Meiji period (1868–1912) is a western building with an architectural style from the time Yokohama Port was established. It has a tea room, a bar and a restaurant, and can be used for weddings and entertainment. You can see the good old days through documents that convey the flavor of civilization during Japan’s westernization. It is one minute’s walk from Exit 9 at Kannai Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway Line.

珈琲は八百円弱。 普通なら高いが、ミルクや生クリームが沢山ついて来るから内容考えたらお得。 一階の喫茶は、お菓子もケーキ屋さんレベルで凄く美味しい。 上の階はbarとフランス料理だが、barは有名なバーテンダーが昔居た。 勝烈庵のカツのパン粉もここでパン焼いて提供。 十番館も勝烈庵も専門職の人がいて満足出来る味。

- A pound cake specialty shop located right next to the Exit 3 of Motomachi-Chukagai Station. Named after Pavlov’s dog, the shop aims to serve cakes so good that after just one bite, you’ll always water at the mouth whenever you hear the name. The interior is modeled after a Paris sweetshop and will make you feel like a celebrity. Pavlov’s pound cake is made with select ingredients and is characterized by its moist texture. Each cake is given a name which evokes the symbolism of flower language and Pavlov’s cakes make popular gifts. You can enjoy a fresh-baked slice of cake and a beverage in the adjoining café space.

生キャラメルテイスティングが一日何回か１５名限定で行われています。ちょうど会う時間で１組しか並んでなくて、参加。１１０円ですが、店内の商品を購入したら生キャラメルテイスティング代金が無料。お得です。今回は塩味のピンクソルト。砂時計で時間が来たらたべます。コロナ対策で間隔をとって入店させていて、対応きちんとされてました。もちろん食べた後はキャラメルかってかえりました。

東京から横浜までランニングしてひと風呂浴びた後に立ち寄りました。何と言っても「生チョコ発祥の店」という看板が目を引きますね。あれこれ迷いましたがミルク、オランジュと「竹鶴ピュアモルト」なる変わったものを。お酒香るちょっと大人の生チョコレートでした。
