There’s also a movie theater and even an amusement park, ensuring you can enjoy a whole day here. You can get taste of Hawaii in the Hawaiian Town area on the first floor, where you’ll find a variety of Hawaiian goods and popular Hawaiian souvenirs as well as Hawaiian food.

A historical structure built as a government-bonded warehouse during the Meiji and Taisho periods, and nowadays it has become a multipurpose-type facility which holds cafes and restaurants. From the open plaza facing the sea you can look out over Yokohama Port and the scenery of Minato Mirai, while the buildings are illuminated in orange in the evening and from midday, a different fantastic atmosphere is created. This is a souvenir store for another brand of instant noodle. You can also make your own noodle there. However, its much smaller and more focus on selling different kind of Yokohama Souvenir.

Bashamichi Jyuban-kan built in 1967 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Meiji period (1868–1912) is a western building with an architectural style from the time Yokohama Port was established. It has a tea room, a bar and a restaurant, and can be used for weddings and entertainment. You can see the good old days through documents that convey the flavor of civilization during Japan’s westernization. It is one minute’s walk from Exit 9 at Kannai Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway Line.

This famous shop has been frequently featured in the media. One of the shop’s most popular items is the “England” shokupan, which is made with hops instead of yeast. Made according to an original, old-fashioned recipe, Uchiki Pan’s shokupan is large and chewy, perfect for any meal. Uchiki Pan also offers a variety of other items, including sweet breads and French bread.

Come and enjoy the American flavors on offer. Visitors can have their fill of a variety of other choices as well, such as fresh side breads and Hawaiian-style donuts.

Many delicious baked goods using whole wheat, rye, etc. Not just bleached white flour like the majority of bakeries in Japan. Reasonable prices for the step up in quality.

Lastly, ecomo offers an abundance variety of seasonal breads and sweets such as miniature tarts made with seasonal ingredients.

A malasada specialty shop first opened on Oahu, Hawaii, this is Leonard’s first Japanese location. Founded in 1952, malasada is a popular local treat in Hawaii. A type of fried bread, the exterior of malasada is crisp and light, the inside fluffy. Malasada is prepared in a single consistent process, starting with the mixing of the flour and other ingredients. Leonard’s malasada is never prepared in advance, meaning you can always enjoy it fresh cooked. The shop also has an eat-in space.

Kanagawa Areas

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha.
