The owner personally imports the products on offer from overseas, stocking over 1,000 different patterns. The shop also carries a variety of tools and specialty glues for decoupage. Der Kleine Laden Tokyo offers classes (reservation required), where you can use your favorite pattern to create an original decorative plate or flower vase.

    This longstanding furniture store is located midway along the Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street near Motomachi-Chukagai Station and Ishikawacho Station. The store can be identified by its giant, bright red chair out front, which is also a popular photo spot. In addition to its own in-house furniture brand Daniel, the store sells furniture from across the country and imported from companies in the U.S. and the U.K. The store also provides services such as made-to-order sofas, furniture repair, and carpet cleaning.

    みなとみらい線の日本大通り駅から徒歩7〜8分です。初めてバレエの公演を見に行きました。大ホールは、バレエの殿堂という風にチラシには書かれていました。確かにオーケストラピットもあり、その通りの作りでした。ただ、古いため、一般客用のエスカレーターやエレベーターがなく、階段で3階まで上がったのは、なんとかならないのかと感じました。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
