Tokyo Chuo-ku Ginza 5-5-11 Tsukamoto Real Estate Building B1
"A long-standing bar located just a two-minute walk from Ginza Station. Founded in 1928, it's known as the ""Writer's Bar"" because it was supported by many great literary figures including Ton Satomi, Kyoka Izumi, Kan Kikuchi, and Masao Kume when it opened. The single-slab L-shaped counter has been there since its inception. There's also a famous photo of the author Osamu Dazai drinking in western clothing. Many fans come to sit in the same seat today. It's down a small alley off of Miyuki-dori Street. Look for the sign for Arsene Lupin."

Tokyo Chuou-ku Tsukiji 4-12-2 Lions Mansion Higashi Ginza B101
A sushi restaurant where you can enjoy sashimi made with high class and rare seafood selected by the discerning eye of the owner, a man who previously worked as a wholesaler and in the tuna auction site in Tsukiji Market. The most popular item on the menu is the lunch-only Tsukiji Market Jogai-don. This stunning dish consists of a seafood rice bowl consisting of around 10 varieties of seafood served on top of a bowl of chirashi sushi filled with seafood and rice. Another popular menu option is the Maguro-zukushi-don, a rice bowl topped with all manner of real, domestic tuna cuts with which you can have your choice of topping. Kashigashira also stocks a variety of sake, shochu, fruit liqueurs, and other beverages perfect for enjoying with seafood. The restaurant is closed on Sundays along with Tsukiji Market.

This restaurant in Tsukiji opens at 11:00 and you can reserve in advance only for 11:00 and then wait in line! They have a few special dishes each day and today we were lucky to have raw white fish...

    Tokyo Chuou-ku Ginza 2-12-10 Fuji Building 1F
Barcos Ginza celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2017 and has remained a bar for individuals and groups to go as they please, a place where customers can enjoy delicious vegetables and wine in exquisite meals. Their lunch menu is reasonably priced with large portions and is very popular amongst men. A great restaurant to enjoy dinner with your friends or coworkers.

    Tokyo Chuo-ku Ginza 8-5-5 Brick Building B11F2F3F
A bar with a brick exterior on Namiki-dori Street. Its mellow ambiance has remained unchanged since its establishment in 1951. Its attention grabbing 10-meter long bar is rare for the Ginza district. They offer over 500 types of alcohol, so you can enjoy discovering new drinks that match your taste.

Nice bar in Ginza with some great history. This place never closes. Never. Service is good. No seating/Otoshi fee (though a 10% service charge is added to all bills). Two floors! Enjoy.

Tokyo Chuo-ku Nihonbashi Kakigaracho 2-1-1 Royal Park Hotel 1F
"A restaurant at the Royal Park Hotel Tokyo. Elegant yet casual, guests spend a refined time dining on cuisine prepared by their chef. The popular lunch buffet has about 45 items ranging from appetizers to desserts. They even have a chocolate fountain on weekends and holidays. A variety of meal plans are available, including an all-you-can-drink party plan and their ""Princess Plate"" for groups of women out on the town."

After nearly 3 weeks in Japan - great - I decided to treat myself to a western meal in this restaurant of the Royal Park hotel where we were holed up avoiding a typhoon. There was a fixed reasonable...

Enjoy juicy lava stone grilled food in an open space. Lavarock, which is also the name of the restaurant, uses lava stones which are heated to high temperatures to maximize the flavor of the ingredients. Enjoy a juicy lava stone grill along with bistro cuisine, and a rich alcoholic menu. The restaurant, based on a European railway station, is an open space with a glass surface. Not only is it great for dinner but also for breakfast and lunch.

We ate here for breakfast 4 days as it was included with our hotel. The staff were nice, the food was good and fresh. With all the great reviews I wish we would have tried other meals here.

Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
