    A giant camphor designated a Prefectural Natural Monument located in Kamiyatsu, Ogose Town, Iruma County. The tree is over 1,000 years old, measures 15 meters in circumference at the base, and is 30 meters tall. Per a national plant census conducted in 1988, the tree is ranked the 16th largest in the country and the largest in the prefecture. A wooden walkway leads to the tree, making it easy for visitors to appreciate its majestic beauty.
