A creative cuisine restaurant located in the Forest Mashiko inn. The restaurant’s dishes are primarily made with seafood shipped direct from Hakodate and local vegetables. The fresh fish assortment is particularly popular. Akatsuki also offers over 15 varieties of sake as well as over 10 varieties of shochu. The staff at Akatsuki will recommend the perfect beverage to go with the season and the seasonal ingredients used to make your meal. The restaurant’s location adjoining Mashiko Prefectural Nature Park is also outstanding. At night, a star-filled sky stretches overhead, creating a charming atmosphere.

Akasuki Restaurant is located on the grounds of the Forest Inn. If youre traveling to Mashiko, I recommend spending the night at the Forest Inn, too. We made reservations the week before we arrived...
