Tsukamoto Pottery
This pottery shop is over 150 years old. It’s famous for Mashiko ware pottery used for the containers of the popular “Touge-no-Kamameshi” train station lunch boxes. The spacious grounds of their container factory and Mashiko ware studio in Mashiko Town host a gallery and museum. Factory tours and pottery making workshops using an authentic potters’ wheel are both popular. View the work of living national treasures and famous potters at the gallery.
