Operating out of an old Japanese warehouse used to store lacquerware and built in the Meiji period, the shop sells a wide variety of authentic Aizu lacquerware goods. In addition to bowls and other tableware, you can also find an abundant variety of lacquered accessories and knickknacks. The first floor is the shop floor while the second floor serves as a lacquerware museum.

    This restaurant and souvenir shop located in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture operates out of a remodeled old Japanese warehouse and home complex which once belonged to the top rice merchant in the prefecture. The restaurant side of the establishment serves handmade soba noodles created with Aizu-grown buckwheat, and dengaku roasted dishes made with a signature miso paste. The store side carries Aizu specialty products and local souvenirs such as regional sakes, lacquerware, and folk crafts.

    This folk craft shop is about a three-minute drive from Kitakata Station. They display and sell a variety of local Aizu Kitakata craft arts, including the exquisite makie lacquerware sprinkled with gold and silver, as well as glass art and kirinoko dolls made from paulownia sawdust. Their Makie Glass Crafts, which feature glass decorated using makie techniques from lacquerware, feature modern designs that fit well with current decorations. The clear, cool aura and cute designs of their beaded cellphone straps are popular with all kinds of customers. The second floor holds a display of kirinoko dolls, all individually hand-made from paulownia sawdust kneaded into ramen flour dough.

    離喜多方車站距離不遠, 走路約5到10分鐘的, 1樓有很多漆器物品賣, 2樓則類似展覽館, 有很多貓的漆器, 表現出各種不同的景, 如祭典之類的等等, 十分可愛, 來拜訪喜多方市的話, 是可以買伴手禮裝飾品送禮的好地方
